Casanova's Story of My Flight

have to say that the first 20+ pages I read strongly remind me of a dandy version of The Process by Kafka, written more than one hundred years earlier..good stuff!

The Monsters and the Critics by J.R.R. Tolkien, a series of lectures given by Tolkien regarding Beowulf and other mediaeval texts.

Is that worth one worth buying? Accessible? I can't read Old English etc but love all that sort of thing...

Something wicked this way comes by Ray Bradbury. 50 odd pages in and can't say it's riveting so far. Lovely worded title though.

Just finished Batman the long halloween. Good graphical novel.

It's pretty good and first in a trilogy

Oh! I didn't know that! I think I'll abandon it until I've read the 1st part. It seems a bit confusing from what i've read on wiki. Is it a 'proper trilogy' or are they just thematically linked? Do you need to read Dandelion wine before Something wicked this way comes? As you'd have to do Fellowship of the ring before The two towers?

I plan on picking this up later today. Should make for an interesting read.

Let me know how this book turns out. Like the author (after reading the description). I too am an off the chart Briggs introvert. Being as such, it does impact how I interact and deal with church.

I'm over 55% through it and so far it's been a page turner (or page clicker on the Kindle). I'm finding it very helpful and insightful. I have a few ideas already that may help me in how I view myself and interact with the extraverts in my church and at work. I can already recommend this book to you. :)

How are you liking it? I've considered reading it before, but just have never gotten around to doing it.

I read it around a quarter through coz I was hooked up with my studies and find it very complicated, pessimistic, depressing and brimming with hatred. My Mein Kampf book comes with professional commentary and its combined.

Thanks, I'll have to order it :)

Here is another book I just pre-ordered for my Kindle:

The Introvert's Way: Living a Quiet Life in a Noisy World

I've been following her articles on Psychologytoday.com, The Introvert's Corner, for some time now. Another book on introversion that I really liked is:

Introvert Power: Why Your Inner Life Is Your Hidden Strength

From all my reading on the topic, it seems that 50% of the population are introverts and the other 50% are extraverts. But we all know who garners the most attention! :p

Hello Friend,
I am leo parker. Free time i like a read booke. I always read "The Spiritual Journey". I have no word in this book.

My Kindle broke so I'm having a break from it now but I was reading Fifty Shades of Grey just out of curiosity. Next up I'll read the Story of O since I hear it's actually good.

Parts of WI's Steve Jobs biog. The parts about the Mac 'cause I didn't have one back when I read the whole thing a few mths ago and guess what? Yes! I still wouldn't have one now if it wasn't for reading that book.
I'm also part reading a book about Iggy Pop but only the bits about him and Bowie.

I'm reading "Killing Pablo," but it's my last book I'm reading in a traditional sense. Pre-ordered the 119 "Paperwhite" Kindle.
