I am now up to 4 pairs of Luckys. Bought 2 pair last summer and just bought 2 more pair last week. I will probably phase out the other jeans from my collection and wear these exclusively.

for years I wore Gap jeans but quite recently they've stopped selling the color & wash I always bought so I'm looking for a new brand now

Levi's 551
From a Levi's Outlet store :D
I do have a pair of CK and Guess Jeans, that I use when going out at night. But I wear the 551 most of the time (have 3 pairs)

I buy jeans from lots of places. Gap, J.Crew, Polo, Abercrombie, American Eagle.

My favorite pair of jeans I got for a meager $11.34 at the Gap in the town next to mine. No one ever shops there because there aren't really any other clothing stores near it so basically all the merchandise sits and then they just keep dropping the prices. J.Crew and Polo make nice jeans though. Going to the outlet makes them a lot cheaper

I own 3pairs of American Eagle Low Rise Bootcut, 1 American Eagle Low Rise Slim Boot Cut, and a normal American Eagle Bootcut. I also have 2 Old Navy, and one pair of black Social Collision skinny jeans.

The Old navy are about 2 years old, and I rarely wear them (although I am wearing then as I type this). I have so many American Eagle ones because I just happen to keep on getting them with gift cards, sales, etc. Also, its the only place that I can find 26/28 size jeans.... :( They are quite nice though. I have worn them every week of the school year, and during the summer when it wasnt 1000º outside.

The Social Collision ones I got for Halloween, but then I noticed that they are quite comfy, so I wear them now. Last time I wore them, a guy called me emo as he walked by.

Levi 560s. Mainly because they're comfortable, semi-cheap, and they come in 36 length (online only, ugh).

I am quite happy going with supermarket jeans from Tesco or Asda as I'm wearing the ones I bought in Tesco about 6 or 7 years ago! I just don't see the point in paying ridiculously higher prices for the same thing, some people are just duped into paying more for the so-called brand name instead of the quality.

A while back I made the mistake of buying Levis jeans from House of Fraser (British department store) which were quite expensive that I thought would last longer but after just 2 or 3 months I found the material beginning to thin after going through frequent washes and a large hole began to develop.

R&Rs and "Sevens" are overpriced, of poor quality, and used excessively by douchebags...that is just what I've heard. :D

I don't know about that - My fiance has a few pairs, one pair in particular going back 5 years, which she wore a 3-4 times a week. And they are still going. My 2 nicer pairs are about a year and a half old and still look like they did when i bought them. Based on your comment I am going to assume you don't own any, so you probably have no idea what you are saying. Unless you have conducted extensive field interviews? lol. Further, I bet a lot of people make the same comment about apple computers (overpriced, for "DBs" etc.) Its really all about what you want to spend your money on I guess. Generally you get what you pay for. In my opinion, I don't mind spending money on a little "nicer" things as long as its in my budget. At the time, I couldn't find any good fitting dark dark jeans. My lovely fiance led me to her mecca, Nordstroms, and they happen to have the best jeans with the best fit by far. My reasoning was I would rather have 2-3 pairs that fit well and looked good, then 6 pairs that didn't.

I am not sure if you were trying to be funny, but either way you cant just put a smiley face after a rude comment and it be okay. But thats okay. This is the internet. Its full of "tough" guys that feel just because its anonymous they can be giant tools. No hard feelings though. Have a good one buddy.
