I want a round imac. It's ellipitcal in shape, rounded, but not like an emac. It has a built in keyboard. Maybe I'll sketch something out to show you what I mean.

Wouldn't it be great if the imac used some kind of munular design or at least if the iMac have a "video in" port so the iMac could be used as a monitor

Also, they need to offer it in Black too....
This was true when Apple progressions were slow and steady - a two-year old machine wasn't necessarily that far off the pace of the latest and greatest. That artificially enhances value. How is it expensive when Apple computers routinely sell used for more than any other computer on the market?
Too bad the past has little bearing on the future here. This may not always be true but it has been in the past.
Uh, the 20" ACD costs more than $200 last I checked.Who cares that you can't reuse a display that is worth less than $200.
That's the idea. Your iMac will now begin to depreciate in the same way that "generic PCs" depreciate.Buy a "modular" generic PC and see how much you get back from it when you sell it in a couple of years.

for those of you who've never used dual screens, you don't know how cool it is until you try. i think it'd be awesome if there were two screens, either side by side or one on top.
dual dvd (or blu-ray) drives would be cool as well.
maybe media or shortcut buttons on the chin? an ipod-style wheel button in place of the apple logo, with functionality for programs like itunes, or final cut.
how about a cover for that built-in isight? i don't want to be the next numa-numa.
man, apple needs to hire me.

In the Intel age, with the rapid advances in technology over the next few years (Core Duo to 64-bit Core 2 Duo to quad-core chips to octa-core, etc.), the same won't be true. People aren't going to pay top dollar for a used iMac that's two or three technology generations behind. (Now, will the iMac be usable? Absolutely, probably even good. But the marketing that comes along with new processors and new designs isn't going to aid in public perception.)
