I have the Mujjo the buttons are excellent, did you give it time to break in? post the link for above?

I used the Mujjo for about a month. It got better, but it's still no match for how the aluminum buttons feel.
I'm not sure if posting a link is allowed because it's not an official Apple product; I'll PM you the link instead.

EDIT It seems like you have disabled PMs. If you enable them, I can send the link to you.

Just curious if the case is soft and grippy? I’ve seen the listing on Aliexpress (and EBay) before but just never got it.

It's similarly soft and grippy as the official Apple case that I used on my iPhone 7. The case has a soft-touch feel, but feels snug around the phone.

The only thing I'm worried about as far as quality is concerned, is the wear; I hope it'll get a nice patina, similar to Apple's leather cases, but if not I think I'll just order another one when it's worn too much.

For 10EUR it won’t be leather so therefore won’t get a patina I’m afraid haha

I got one of the fake “Apple” silicone cases from Amazon, with the logo and all. I love it, looks and feels like the real thing. I really have no clue why Apple never made any for the XR. It’s a great color too, it was labeled as “pacific green” but it’s more blue than it is green....a nice darker blue green. I had another silicone one I got months ago but it didn’t have the bottom cut out and was much thicker/bulkier.

This is my first case with the bottom opening and I love it...love the feel of sliding up from the edge.

Anyone with a Mujjo leather case, in any colour got some good images of it on the phone?

I think I want to trade my X for and XR but I need a leather case for it. So much so, I’m considering the XS Max, just so I know I have have a decent Apple leather case for it.

There are some nice pictures of the Mujjo tan leather case in page 6 of this thread. I have the black Mujjo. It’s very similar to the Apple leather case before the introduction of metal buttons. However, I find that the leather is of better quality than Apples offering.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll check out those pics. I would probably get the black or blue one tbf

Anyone got the cobalt blue Caudabe Sheath yet?

I do! I really like it.

The blue is a bit deeper compared to how the photo is appearing on my device.

If anyone in the UK I ordered it from desiredtech.co.uk

They’re based in NI. A bit more expensive than buying direct but guarantee of no import duties.

Thanks! I already had them bookmarked after emailed caudal W asking for a UK stockist. I just wanted to wait till there was some opinions on it.

Will grab one. Thanks!

Anybody wanna trade a brand new unopened Caudabe Lucid Clear (Crystal Clear) for a black Caudabe Sheath? I have 2 of them and really don’t need the other.

Really loving the Ringke Fusion XR.

Provides better grip than any of my other cases (bar the presidio grip). Doesn’t add much bulk and shows the colour off. All while feeling solid enough to take protect against drops.

I’ve had it on my phone for over a week. Not done that with any of the 12 other cases I’ve got. Most have spent 2 seconds on the phone but I wasn’t rotating the ESR slim. Caudabe sheath and the ringke air. Prefer the Fusion to them all.

Hi,
would you please PM me the link for the „unofficial "Apple" leather case for the iPhone XR on AliExpress for about 10 EUR“ ?

Thanks in advance.
Kind regards
Nadine

Mujjo arriving today - but am concerned about its buttons:

The 2 cases I already have for the XR also lack metal buttons.
I hold the phone in my left hand and constantly find myself trying (unsuccessfully ! ) to feel for the on/off button with either my index or my middle finger.
It's been a real issue for me.
Would really appreciate if you could either post or PM me your link.
(Tried to PM you directly - but for some reason - unable to)
Many thanks - in advance.....

A few months in my official apple clear case is showing 0 signs of yellowing.

I did order some cheap leather and silicon apple clones off eBay for my XR. They arrive this week and next. I'll post pics and my thoughts when I receive them.

Clear Case for iPhone XR 6.1"(2018 Release),GREATRULY Slim Ultra Protective iPhone XR Case, Crystal Transparent Shockproof Soft Thin TPU Bumper Nice Grip Silicone Phone Cover Shell,Clear Grain Frame https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07J9QSDWZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_.mGPCbDYWQWR2

I ran across this clear case the other day. Looks to have texture on the edges but there’s not too many reviews for this case. The textured sides interest me if it really adds grip..but at this point, not interested enough to accumulate another case.

I have the Ringke Fusion clear case and love it, but it’s a bit too slippery depending on the condition of my hand. I’ve switched back to my Caudabe Sheath for the past few weeks and remember why I love the Sheath.

Just for clarification, is this leather the one with the metal buttons? How’s the buttons on this?

The buttons look shiny like metal but I think they might be plastic. But they work nicely. The fit isn’t as tight and precise as an Apple case but it’s not bad for the $7 or whatever I paid.

My leather case came in today.

What is the seller name if you don't mind me asking?

I got a couple from AliExpress, each like 3$.....unfortunately the button areas were awful on them which kinda made them unusable for me. They weren't plastic or aluminum or anything, no actual button cutouts....they just had a little space for where the buttons were located. It would press down on the lock screen button at random times and have Siri come up, pressing on the button didn't feel like you were actually pressing it down, etc. But I can't be mad at that price.

I got some Silicone ones also from there which, other than having some mold lines on them, are great and don't feel quite as "silicone"-y as some others I've had....they're a little easier to take in and out of your pocket and feel super smooth.
[doublepost=1554695329][/doublepost]Also, I just got a Gangge6 case which is pretty cool. Basically replicates the back of the phone and has a shiny border to make the sides look like stainless steel. I got a white one and it almost looks like I have a white bare XR.

The buttons are not really buttons on this either. Just little cutouts. The sides are very loose on this case so pressing the buttons actually moves the whole side in a bit.

I stopped using it already mainly because I hate the feel. I have no idea what kind of material it is but it isn’t leather. It feels odd and I don’t like it.

At least there’s a cut out, haha on mine there wasn’t even that.

Yeah I’ve realized that the cheap fake “Apple” silicone cases are usually fine, but if you want a decent leather one, you won’t find one that cheap. I went ahead and ordered a Mujjo one
