I'm definitely interested in the Caseology one myself. Have you already received it? How do you like the build of the case? I'm always afraid with TPU cross cases and feel like the TPU will "give" too much at the bottom lip.

I bought the spigen liquid crystal and loving it so far. No bulk....shows off the beauty of my matte black too.

Does the top lip cover the phone when face down? Also how about the camera? if phone is lying flat is the camera lens protruding? Would you say the case helps against the occasional drop?

I have used the Caseology cases before, and while that style (TPU with plastic bumper) does feel a bit 'flimsy' to the touch, they really do protect. I also had several of the Spigen Hybrid cases for my 6 Plus and it was the same situation.

I bought a version of that caseology case for my iPhone 7 plus and I really like the quality of it. The TPU isn't super flimsy, it's actually pretty nice quality and the other part is of good quality too. I love the way it looks on my phone. I got the clear/rose gold one and it really shows off the beautiful color of the phone while still protecting it. The lip for the front and camera are perfect too!

Assuming Magpul even makes a case for the 7/7 Plus. They've yet to respond to any requests.

Let us know when it arrives. Looks interesting, especially with the texture.

Got it today. Not overly impressed. Feels like TPU and not silicone. I was hoping for a more rubbery feel. Cutouts appear to be done well. Camera cutout is smaller than most, thats a good thing.

These are 99P from China.

I've used these cases in the past for a 6S, and the QC is not far off paying full price for a case. It's just not worth paying 20 times the price for a piece of plastic. I bought 5 of these cases, and usually have them on the phone for 2 months before discarding and using one of the new ones.

Longevity/durability isn't the issue for cheap phones; it's RATED deop protection. I want a case that actually does its job and protect the phone when it hits the pavement. $1/£1 cases generally don't do that, plastic or not.

I love the OtterBox Symmetry. It has such a solid, quality feel about it, and has just enough grip on the sides to give it a nice, secure feel in the hand. OtterBox sent me some review samples and I reviewed it over the weekend:

Kristin

Nice review! Thank you for sharing. I have the Saltwater Taffy case and love it.

I went to Best Buy to look at cases and the two best ones I found there were the speck and tech 21. I went with the spec because I think it looked a little better.

Has anybody received an otter box statement case? I am thinking about ordering it but would love to see it on a phone first. Any other recommendations for the cases from apples website? I have a gift card

The video shows textured areas on the back sides, but the above photo and on Amazon it doesn't show the texture. I'd like to order one but if the back is not textured for grip, forget about it.

Ok, the case is the Presidio Grip. :)
The first video with the purple case is for the Presidio and the second video with the black case is the Presidio Grip. Both cases have a different texture of polycarbonate than the old CandyShell cases. It is matte, with a slightly textured finish that will resist fingerprints and scratches. Only the Presidio Grip has those rubber grip lines on the back and sides, however...

Hey guys,

Just wondering which cases people have decided to go for? I still haven't received my iPhone 7+ 128gb matte black yet but today when in town I picked up an Apple Leather iPhone 7+ case in (PRODUCT)RED colour, I was going to wait until the phone arrived but knowing my luck we'd go for a phone shortage to a case shortage haha

So which other cases have people been picking up this weekend?

I wonder why the OtterBox SYMMETRY CLEAR is temporarily out of stock. I would like the get an the OtterBox Symmetry case, but really wanted something either not black or clear.

So I have the Apple official leather case and it is open on the bottom so the bottom part of the iPhone is unprotected, is there a thin skin I can install on the bottom part of the iPhone 7 plus so that the exposed part of the iPhone with the speaker grills and lighting port is at least protected in case i dropped it from minimal scratches, I feel like that would be better Than just leaving the bottom of the iPhone unprotected like that,

I really like the wavelength case from Caseology... my only knock on the Apple silicon case is the fact that it's a lint and dust magnet... Can't keep it clean.

Yeah the wavelength is gorgeous and has a great grip. I got the gold 7 so i figured I might as well get something that will compliment it.

The Apple Silicone case has an amazing grip though, i had it for my 6S and I never got another case after that. But you are right about lint especially in jean pockets.

Not sure I would call this a "case" but more of a skin

I have the caseology wavelength for my 7, but looking to getting the Apple silicone soon
Apple Silicone Case feels and looks amazing new. I had 2 and I find them incredibly fragile. Both literally crumbled and fell apart well within a year.
