I've ordered an XR in black. I really like the red and coral options.

But I tend to get bored with specific colors, so black/space grey is a safe bet for me.

You are absolutely right. If I had gone to the Apple store and looked at them all in person I would have chose blue. All the reviews, representations and even a few people here made it sound like it was a really light blue. When I saw it in person it wasn't as light as I expected and it was a blue that I could have lived with.

I'm good with my white. It is the first not black phone I have owned in the 9 years of buying smartphones.

It's all personal preference too- because when I saw blue in person I thought it was too light/baby blue.

White here and love it! It's nice to see the color choices.
 
Red! Looks amazing in person. I normally go for black and loved the matt black on my 7+ but as soon as I saw the red in the apple store, I was set.

It's nice to have red as an option day one. I'm surprisingly disappointed that Apple didn't release cases though. I would love a navy leather case with just a bit of red poking through.

I agree... and a few others were also looking for (Apple brand) XR cases when I was at an Apple Store.

The employees were saying they hope by Christmas they will release some, but who knows. (Yes, I know there are plenty of 3rd party options. I've just always prefered the Apple ones.)
 
I have never found a third party option I like as much as the Apple brand leather case. They're really great. Hopefully they'll just drop them randomly some day like the recent watch bands.

Check out the OtterBox Statement case. I believe they may have it in navy.

same. i liked the red, but chose black in the end for 2 reasons. 1) i think i will get bored of the red, 2) i think black hides the black bezel band better, at least from certain angles

hmmm, i went to the apple store. i find the color is affect by lighting (or angle). under certain lightings, i find the blue too light and the coral too orange (i dont like orange).

I picked up a case for my ipad yesterday and whilst I was at the store I was checking out the XR colours again.
For all i said about the red one being my least favourite, for some reason yesterday I really liked it haha.
I am so fickle.

I think you get so used to the colour that you’ve chosen,that when you see another colour and it instantly looks fresh and appealing!

I still really liked the black one a lot, but red looked lovely indeed.
 
If Apple released a metallic line of colors with 6.1 OLED screens for $899 that would be schweet
 
Originally picked coral, but after seeing them in person decided white looked the best. But I've decided to skip the XR altogether and continue with my SE. Unfortunately the poll doesn't allow me to remove my vote.
 
I got the red. I went with an Insignia clear case with a black bumper. It makes the bezel really look amazing against the red. So far, very happy with this phone and the color!
 
Bought my (PRODUCT)Red on launch day and I've been loving it ever since
