The blue /XR is obviously better caseless but I think it still fares well in this liquid crystal spigen

From seeing the AT&T ads today on TV,the coral indeed looks orange as did the photos I saw. Like I said earlier,I wish Apple knew what color coral really is. If it was coral,I would have got it but settled on red.
I settled for the red one as well ;) The coral was way too much orange when I finally saw it in person.

Looks great!
Coral is an interesting one as I think it’s really pink but then in videos it looks orange?!
How is it in real life lighting?!

It’s more pink than orange is real life. Depending on the angle and light it goes from a light colour pink to more dark and then with a hint of orange. It’s brilliant.

Oh wow that looks pink, but to me in person the phone looked orange. Now I’m doubting going with red lol.
Maybe my eyes are interpreting the colour different

Definitely more pinky than orange to me in real life. On videos and photos it looked orange but then I saw a video that showed it in different light conditions and it picked up the pink in it. That’s what cemented it for me. I’m returning my black and keeping the Coral!

When the XR was first announced, I told my wife to go with the coral. She opted for the blue cause she thought the coral looked to orange. Tuesday I was at the Apple store where they had all of them on display, and sent her a picture of the coral in hand. Needless to say, the blue got returned and she now has the coral. The coral in person is MUCH better than what pictures show. Really like how it changes colors depending on lighting and angle.

I returned my XS Max. I have had an X since launch day last year, and have been bothered by frequent headaches. Really never thought the phone was causing them, but when I got the Max, the headaches actually got worse. While setting up her blue XR, I noticed I wasn't having eye fatigue or headaches (spent about 3 hours with her blue one straight). Went back to my Max after finishing with hers and BAM! Now I am rocking the red XR as well!

It really depends on lighting I guess... to me it looked more orange/red and not pink (under Apple Store lighting)... same in YouTube videos.

Same here! Except I finally went with White XR.

My eyes feel much better with this screen than my X (and tried Xs MAX too). Don't know what was with the OLED... but I much prefer the "traditional" LCD screen.

I just got back from the Apple store. I purchased a white 128GB. Will return the red 64GB. Feel a little guilty as there was nothing wrong with the red model.

I'm boring and always have silver/white phones.

I think you did the right thing, not only colour wise but also storage wise. 64 Gb extra for just $/€ 50 is a good deal! So don't feel bad.

Everybody's getting the red. A white Xr will be more special (and is more beautiful if you ask me). Besides, it all doesn't matter once you put a case on it.

The red is really nice, but even when I preordered I was having second thoughts - it’s just not ‘me’. I don’t really need the extra storage but my husband said if I was getting a different colour I may as well pay the extra $70AUD for double the storage as I’ll hand the phone down to my son next year if I upgrade.

Same situation... I just went from blue to white. I always feel bad returning, but that's also why I only buy directly with Apple and their return policy. Even Apple employees promote to return if you're not happy with color or anything about the phone, so don't feel too bad. :)

Love the classic style, reminds me of when they first offered glass back white (4s I believe). Plus hides fingerprints really well!

The big debate, personally hesitating between the below.

Blue: It's nice for a change and you feel less the glass back than with other colours (aluminium fan here). Just scared to be tired of it and to be limited by aesthetically matching cases. Darker blue would be amazing though.
Black: Looks great but safe option. Bonus is the matching screen and band make the bezel less obvious
Yellow: love the back but hate the gold band and how it matches with the back

My question is how much to you notice the color of the band around the screen when using the XR? Is this bothering anyone? Main hesitation is that with a color option you notice more the bezel than with the black

It's really a personal choice/opinion... to me actually black felt like it made the bezel look bigger (since the band is also black- looks like the bezel extends out). The color options looked better since the band is separate from screen/black bezel.

JMO- I'm sure others may feel the colors pop out too much.

Funny you say that. Feel like the color options frames the screen (reason why I never went with the white for the 4 or 6) so it gives a thickness to the bezel instead of being the end of the screen/edge of the phone. That's what I like about the black, the screen blends in/disappears in the rest of the body of the iPhone. Still a part of me wants to go for some colour though

I agree with that for previous bezel iPhones (before X). Now with X/XR the color really doesn't bug me since it's not a top and bottom "lip" or whatever you want to call it.

Have to agree with AppleWes. The black adds to the bezel and makes it seem wider because there's no clear seperation between screen and bezel like you have with a different coloured Xr.

Me three for the black bezel.
But I have been watching videos of the black and I have grown to it. It does look sleek. And any coloured case would work if you don't like the XR colours.

Also, I love that black wallpaper they made for the black phone. Looks slick!

I'm off to the Apple store tomorrow to check out the other colours and potentially swap my 64gb out for 128gb.
May change my yellow colour but doubt it!
