Just saw these today at the Apple store, I was honestly a bit disappointed by pretty much all the colors. Now these are filthy/nasty display models under the Apple store lighting, so not necessarily the best conditions.
White - which was sure to be my favorite by far - actually looked kind of cheap to me? I don't know what it was, I was thinking the white would make me hate the silver on the 8/X/Xs, but I like my silver even more now. I was dying for a 4/4S white glass phone again and was seriously let down at the store. It might have been because of the size of the phone? Maybe if it were smaller it would wear white better.
Blue - yuck, too easter egg/pastel.
Red - same as always, but I have always absolutely hated the red aluminum.
Yellow - a more depressing shade of yellow in person than in pictures. You can't mute yellow or it's nasty, this yellow was muted.
Coral - I suppose this was ok but I wouldn't be buying it.
Black - I've always generally had NO interest in the black/space gray phones, and I was disappointed to see that this black is just space gray again and not 4S black, but the black aluminum was nice. I can't believe I'm saying it but maybe I liked the black best.
