Both of my (white) were shipped. One from Memphis and another from W. Chester, PA. Won't be released by the driver until Friday though...don't quite understand the reasoning in them holding the phones, must be the anticipation of the "Release Day' which I've been over with for years.

Any place but here or there....
Seriously. I think a deep green would look so good. Also a deep blue option would be nice; I love blue, but not the lighter shades that Apple used on the 5c and XR.

Deep Green would be lovely. I bet Apple will eventually produce a cobalt or deep blue phone. Those would be nice too. I prefer a darker blue.

As far as reds, my favorite was the Project RED iPod Nano. I wish they’d duplicate that hue. I’d buy that in a heartbeat.

Perhaps in 2019 Apple will release darker shades as opposed to the lighter colors this year?

Wonder why Apple chooses light candy colors for iPhone instead of dark metallic blue/green/maroon colors like Samsung, Huawei and others. Candy colors pop out at first but its appeal fades out after daily use.. of course this is a personal preference. It would have been a better idea to target larger audience with both light and dark color options or maybe Apple is saving it for next year's update.

I’d actually bite on a cobalt blue one. Hadn’t thought of this before.

Apple's logic is so difficult to understand sometimes.

You could argue the the release of the Product (RED) edition at launch is a sign of worry at Apple that the Xr will not sell well, so they want to make all the colors available at launch. Yet they are not offering a SIM-free version at launch.
And no Apple cases for the Xr. Granted, the 5C Apple cases were pretty hideous, and perhaps Apple tested a clear case and decided they couldn't make one that doesn't discolor over time. Still - nothing? Not even silicone cases in matching colors?

Then they start selling the USB-C charger for the Apple Watch. Why now? Would have been easy to make a year ago.

None. There's no classy silver or space grey versions just pure white/black or colours. Bling bling

I also had a project red nano. By far my favorite shade of red too! Would love to see that on a future model.

I remember a couple years ago there were rumors of a dark blue matte version. If they had this, I would've gotten it instead of red.

First time opting for something that isn't space gray or black. I decided to get the 256GB Blue XR although I do wish it was a tad bit darker. I really like that shade of blue in the pic above.

I pre-ordered black....and can't decide if I want to change it to White if possible. I was between the two for the longest time, settled on White and then changed my mind to black before the pre-order.

I like how the black is sleek and stealth....but I love the clean, shininess of the white too. The only thing I'm not sure about is the contrast between the black front and the light silver sides is a bit jarring, it would've been a nobrainer if the silver sides were a little darker.

BUT I'm scared black is too boring?

All of this is kinda moot anyway since I'll be rocking cases but still.

I’m coming from a 6S too. Hope the phone isn’t too giant. I know it’s smaller than the max but still. I did 64GB black. I take loads of pics and still have 24gb free on my 6S.

Have the same fear that it is too big. After Apple making their phones slimmer with every year my iPhone 6 seems to be the slimmest they made (6.9 mm). After that is goes up again to 8.3 mm with the Xr (even thicker than may my iPad 12.9!). Yesterday I got my case for the Xr and was a little bit shocked how big and thick it is. Never bought the Plus models because they seemed too large and hoped that the Xr was something in the middle that I can stand...

Because of this I have to choose black. It's the only deep colour they offer at the moment. A dark cobalt blue would be lovely....
