haha--agreed. I don't understand the bluetooth keyboard cases. If you want a netbook, get a netbook.

But to be on subject--for about $10 apiece on eBay, I found a silicon case for the back and a zip up folio style hard case to keep the iPad in. I started out with a screen protector, but it annoyed me way too much, so I took it off and threw it out.

I commute a lot, and I bought a Wenger backpack that has a compartment in it designed for the iPad. So the iPad in its case fits beautifully in that padded compartment. Suffice to say that my iPad is well protected when I'm rushing around the city.

Some people are quite happy with the bluetooth keyboard case......my wife is one of them. Go figure

I go low tech and low cost.

When out and about or just tossed in my messenger bag, my iPad sits in a re-used FedEx bubble envelope. Gives it enough protection and it camouflages it, most people think I'm just carrying an eve lope of papers.

Actually, this is a great idea for disguising the iPad when you don't want people to know what you're carrying around. I can't believe I never thought of this. I may very well use this idea in the future :D
