Isn't there a Citrix client for OS X? I haven't used it in years, but I have run Citrix from my Mac to run Windows apps at school.

There is a citrix client you are right. My uni hand it out for free off the website. I dont know if its free in a commercial sense (as my uni probably went n got a free-not-so-good version).

But essentially, it does exist :):apple:

Windows XP under VMware (love Unity view!) on 24" 2.8-MHz iMac for:
  • Framemaker (no way I'm paying for THAT again)
[*]Adobe Creative Suite (no way I'm paying for THAT again)
[*]Dreamweaver (no way I'm paying for THAT again)
  • Microsoft Office 2000 (later versions suck, and no way I'm paying for THAT again)
  • QuickBooks (not sure there's even a Mac version, but no way I'd pay for THAT again)
  • CleanPro for cleaning up imported LPs and dividing them into tracks
  • Motorola utility for synching my RAZR
  • Canon utility for maintaining my MP360
[*]Thunderbird (OK, I could probably port ten years' worth of mail to OS X, but why bother?)
Everything else I do in OS X.

It's like two computers for (just a little more than) the price of one. :)

As someone mentioned earlier, i'd reckon Adobe allow you to port over the licenses over. Thunderbird is available for mac for free!!

DVD FabDecrypter to make backups of my DVDs; Mac the Ripper 2.0 doesn't work on any newer disks and the whole process to get 3.0 is more than just a little confusing. Plus DVD Fabdecrypter is free!:D

I attend a 500 person LAN Event twice a year with co-workers (World in Conflict, Team Fortress 2, CoD4, etc). Its fun to see people's faces when they realize, "Yes, I can game on my Mac AND do well!".

You do realize a mac running Windows is no longer a mac. Just an expensive PC.

It's a six year old program. You don't have that much room to complain, not really.

You can run Photoshop 7 on Windows 7 perfectly fine.

I use XP SP3 for gaming - Except WC3, that runs with OS X..

And then i use Windows, for some programs that i'm used to, that wil only work with Windows. I guess there's alternatives to OS X, but i like having a habit :)
