I'm killing me some Nazis!

I kinda regret not getting the collector's edition of Wolfenstein II: New Colossus, the 12" BJ figure looks amazing.

I finally cleared Chrono Trigger out of the backlog... only 22 years late :p

I'm still slowly plodding through Dragon Quest XI, as well as the PS4 version of Resident Evil 1 (I think I'm probably nearing the end so I should make a decent push into finishing it) [Edit: Finished!]. Then there's the FF8 replay I started a few weeks ago; I'm currently in the desert prison and I hate that place so I stopped playing!

Grinding on in Dark Souls 3. Finished Farron Keep and the Catacombs of Whatever (area after Farron Keep). Boss fight in the catacombs was ridiculous. I just walked up to the giant arms and hammered away at the glowing bracelets. Didn't even get hit once...??? The Farron Keep boss fight (Abyss Watchers) was a little more fun.

How exactly does this message system work? Can ALL other players see my messages? Or are players grouped on servers? Can they only see my messages while I am online? I see some messages that are more complex than what I can do. Is that like a skill that can be upgraded?

Also, how do you decide between all these swords? There's like a dozen greatswords available, all with more or less similar stats. How do you decide which one to level up? And do you hold off and save some shards for later when more powerful weapons are available?

Yeah some of the gimmick boss fights like the one you described look cool, but are pretty...excuse the pun...hollow.

I don't play online so I can't help with the messaging system, but I believe it works on upvotes. So people will randomly place messages and if it's liked a lot it will show up more in other peoples' games.

With the weapon upgrades, it's good to find something you are comfortable with and upgrade it but always remember to save some upgrade items for later. I ended up mainly using an Astora Greatsword and bringing that sucker up as high as I could but I also kept a regular sword from the beginning of the game, made it a Fire Sword and leveled the hell out of it. It's a real buffet of choices because there are a TON of weapons in that game so you have a ridiculous amount of choices. Don't forget that you can exchange boss souls to that little ghastly guy on a throne in Firelink and he can make rare Boss weapons for you too.
[doublepost=1509639713][/doublepost]Goddamn that Dark Souls 3 DLC is tough. I'm on The Ringed City and it's kicking my ass inside out. Looks like I need to get more practice in.

After a week I'm only about half way through chapter 2 in Gears of War 4. It hasn't been very interesting yet so I haven't been motivated to make much progress. These robots are uninspiring and boring to shoot at. Does the game get any better later on.... ?

Sly Cooper Collection on Vita. The first Sly was one of the first games I beat when I had a PS2 but haven't beaten in nearly 14 years.

NSW: DOOM and Rocket League.

PC: Some cool indies just purchased on sale at Steam. Not much of a sale right now - a break until their Fall sale on Nov. 22 where the prices go crazy!

PS4 and XB1: Swiffer Duster  ;)

I am playing South Park Fractured But Whole. Jumping in and out of other games, including Sky Force and Wolfenstein: The New Order. One of my all time favorite games. Getting ready for Wolfenstein 2.

Finishing 'Ratchet & Clank'. It's getting better towards the end. At first I got bored easily and the levels weren't as amazing as I'd hope for a platformer.

Rented Injustice 2 and Crash Bandicoot. Injustice is really really cool, but I get DESTROYED in online.

Crash is also better than I expected, but those minilevels are so short and reprinting that it feels the same over and over again.

I'm thinking of buying a second hand Wii U so I can have some cool local multiplayer and co-op games from Nintendo to play with my cousin from time to time. I don't see many cool local multiplayer and co-op games for PS4.

Currently playing COD WW2 on PS4. It’s so much better than Infinite Warfare, just a shame I can’t find more time to play.

Switch: Mario Odyssey

XB: Madden 18

I picked up Skyrim for the switch as well, and while I like it a lot, I simply refuse to play swinging the joycon. Thinking of selling it already.

I thought the motion controls were optional and can be turned off?
