Ow, I did the horizontal tango with every cute girl I ran into  Loving the first DLC, those Persians don't know what's coming for them!

I made Kassandra picky. ;)

There are some really great abilities you pick up from the first DLC, especially the that can refill your adrenalin bar.

I'm finally taking my backlog seriously and beating games that I've bought. It's a great feeling.
  • Mega Man 9
  • Mega Man 10
  • Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows
  • Shovel Knight: Sceptre of Torment
  • Hyper Light Drifter
  • Flinthook
  • Beat Saber
Next up is Picross S3 and BOXBOY + BOXGIRL.

Borderlands 3. Man that game is some serious fun. My son wants to just keep running through the main storyline, I like doing all the side quests.

So now I am level 22 and able to take on the main storyline no worries (on level) and he is level 15 trying to take on level 18-19 quests and dying repeatedly :p

Good to hear - I had been hearing that the enemies were bullet-sponges (like the awful Wolfenstein Youngblood) and weapons were poorly classed compared to the previous games, glad to hear counter-arguments as well.

Oh some mobs are serious bullet sponges, but not everyone.

And from what I have seen, all weapons are now viable. You play with what is comfortable for you. I like the option that some guns have with the different selections. Like I have a rifle that fires exploding rounds. You can select to have them either explode on impact, or stick to the mob. On sticky, they do a little bit of damage when they hit, but when you reload they all explode in a chain of when they came out of the magazine.

I second the kind words for Borderlands 3. Been playing it a slow pace, and it's fun & silly. One side quest with Ratches ( or is it Retches ) really stayed with me, how freaky it is. The game is fun, but it does have some lag issues. Also, evidently for some reason it seems people were having too good a time getting loot ( which is literally the desired point of the game ) the makers decided to drop a big ol' nerf on loot. So it's actually beneficial to play the game offline, so the hotfix doesn't affect you.

Nonetheless fun game, and it's made me NOT miss the Destiny grind one bit.

Now if you will excuse me, I have to go back to shooting people with my AK - 47 ( God, I love videogames for doing stuff you wouldn't ) like weapon that melts people with corrosive bullets then they explode in a mustard yellow cloud that poisons others, when I am not summoning fists from the ground to pound mobs in fiery death. Also, I cannot recommend enough, shooting someone in this game with a shotgun, for the ragdoll near zero g physics that send them flying from shots. It's wrong I know it, but I still laugh my @$$ off every time I do it, and get a follow up shot on them like it was some kind of shotgun skeet contest. 😭😭😭

I might have to try out Borderlands 3 at some point. I had a lot of fun with the first 2. Did not play the pre-sequel.

Dude, I can tell you what I will be playing that was just recently announced 😁, The ‘Last of us two’ is now officially set for 02-21-21. Plus, Cyberpunk 2077 on April 16, 2020. 2019 was a lackluster year for games, but 2020 is setting off to be a stellar year for some major releases.

I got pre-orders standing for Last of Us 2 & Final Fantasy 7 Remake. I don't trust Cyberpunk enough to pre-order. Going to wait for a couple of weeks after the release. Did the same with Days Gone and didn't regret not pre-ordering that one. I will pick it up though, when it's on the cheap :)

After playing Witcher 3 and seeing how they handled free and paid DLC I couldn't throw my money at them fast enough for a Cyberpunk preorder. I'm taking a wait and see on FF7.

BTW, you were right. PS4 controller on an iPad is awesome.

I am also totally onboard with CDPR in general so was insta-buy on Cyberpunk.

I picked up Puzzle Quest and Jedi Knight II on the Switch and set aside Divinity Original Sin 2 for a bit ...
- Puzzle Quest is still awesome a dozen years later and the port is absolutely perfect.
- Jedi Knight II is a reminder that classic PC shooters are best played on a PC! :D

If you like Puzzle Quest, check out Gems of War.

The Witcher 3 is still waiting on my hard drive for me... I know, I know :) Finishing AC Odyssey Atlantis DLC currently, haven't played a lot these last weeks but with winter around the corner I'm sure I'll get to it.

What are you playing on the iPad? I'm casually playing Oceanhorn 2. Loved the first one a lot (for a mobile game) but I must say I'm not feeling this one, going to give it one more hour of playtime.

Dude!!!!! I like AC:O but I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE the Witcher 3. One of my all time favorites. The final DLC, Blood and Wine, is as large as some standalone games. The second one, Hearts of Stone, had one of the most memorable endings for me ever. You have to play it.

On my iPad I've been using it mostly for collectible card games. I've got a trip coming up for Halloween and I'm going to start my Apple Arcade trial during it.
