Dude, I can tell you what I will be playing that was just recently announced 😁, The ‘Last of us two’ is now officially set for 02-21-21. Plus, Cyberpunk 2077 on April 16, 2020. 2019 was a lackluster year for games, but 2020 is setting off to be a stellar year for some major releases.
The Outer Worlds is the only game I’m really looking forward to this year.
Until then I’ll probably get by with Destiny 2.

Dude!!!!! I like AC:O but I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE the Witcher 3. One of my all time favorites. The final DLC, Blood and Wine, is as large as some standalone games. The second one, Hearts of Stone, had one of the most memorable endings for me ever. You have to play it.

On my iPad I've been using it mostly for collectible card games. I've got a trip coming up for Halloween and I'm going to start my Apple Arcade trial during it.

Haha, I love the enthusiasm! I guess I know what game is next on my list before all the new big titles hit.

I'll be astounded if you platinum it. There's just so much content.

Haha, I'd say challenge accepted but I'm going to wait for at least 25 hrs of gametime before deciding. Also depends on what the trophies are. I never got platinum for God of War just because I didn't want to track all those ravens even though the game itself deserved it. And first I need to finish my adventures in the simulations of the Atlantis DLC of AC Odyssey.

The first 25 hours is the tutorial section. :p

Get on that Atlantis DLC. The third chapter is stellar.

  • Shovel Knight: Sceptre of Torment
  • Hyper Light Drifter
  • Flinthook
  • Beat Saber
Next up is Picross S3 and BOXBOY + BOXGIRL.
Picross S3 and BOXBOY + BOXGIRL are down.

Next up is Link's Awakening.

I have gotten frustrated with the incredibly awful Switch port of Jedi Knight II (which is an all-time Top 5 game of mine), and went back to Puzzle Quest (also on Switch) ... which is awesome, but still occasionally annoyed by the ‘cheater AI’ :D

Really need to play a proper shooter on either my Mac or PC really soon ...

Was on the brink of pre-ordering Tom Ghost Recon Clancys Breakpoint from Amazon, which was also offering a $10 promotion added with the purchase [Side Note: You have to be a Prime member to receive the credit]. But... after watching some credible review videos, it sounds like it’s probably best to wait till some of the patches are introduced to clear some of the glitches/bugs, plus it sounds like Ubisoft mixed a lot RPG elements into this version of Ghost Recon versus what Wildlands (The previous version) executed.

Oh, and you also need a full Internet connection at _all_ times to play Tom Clancy‘s Ghost recon Break point, which a lot of gamers are not also happy with. And prepare for Micro-transactions as well.

In terms as far as visuals are concerned, it’s a huge upgrade in terms of what Ubisoft improved, and one really cool thing that the player can do, is lie down in mud/sand and blend in with the environment when their enemies nearby.

Doom 2016.

[And...... ‘Doom Eternal’ is now delayed from November 2019 to March 2020 according to Bethesda. Disappointing, and it really shows 2019 was not the year for decent game releases at all. However, I think a lot of these developers (Rockstar, Take-Two, Naughty Dog) now are taking the gaming segment very seriously in terms of putting out a well-crafted product. So that means it’s a better product, then it’s worth the wait to me.]

Finished Atlantis Episode 1: absolutely loved it.
Played 30 minutes of Episode 2: absolutely loving it.

It's a shame so many people played AC Odyssey are missing on this DLC because they don't want to spend the extra cash. I get the sentiment, but this stuff is awesome...

Hades was such an interesting character. The voice actor did a great job.

Finished AC Odyssey last night. Took me 149 hrs and 37 minutes for a platinum trophy and 70ish % of trophies on each DLC episode. Absolutely LOVED the final boss and storyline. Now I guess we wait for AC Vikings (if we can believe some of the rumors)

Next up: Red Dead Redemption 2

A certain witcher isn't happy with your choice!

Speaking of Witchers ... I am early on in replaying Witcher III, this time on the Switch. Surprisingly decent port!

Nice! I'd be really curious to see it. I read it looks decent on the Switch but if you dock it looks not so great blown up on a big tv. Still great to be able to play it on the go.

I can certainly believe that - but I only use the Switch as a handheld (if I want to play on a larger screen I will use my Mac or gaming PC!).

I know! But hard choices to make... Got a couple of friends who are playing RDR2 at the moment so I went for that one. So many games... sigh. Sometimes I think back to simpler times when I had my SNES or first PlayStation. I had to save cash for months to buy a new game as a kid, so I never had multiple games waiting for me... #firstworldproblems
