I loved Control on the PC. Will be playing again on the PS5 (yay PS+) as it gets RT and I refuse to pay inflated prices to upgrade my PC GPU.
I just discovered that Control is on gamepass. I won't bother buying it. Instead, I will rejoin gamepass to play it for a month when the ultimate edition is available on gamepass.

For those who have played the Assassin Creed series, what are your TOP 3 for story and character development?

Team Fortress Classic. I've been playing for 22 years... What can I say, it's addicting... The community has shrunk to a very small size, but I know everyone who plays it, so there's a sense of tight-knit community still.

TF2 didn't do it for me in the same way.
Nice to see a Team Fortress player here. I used to play it a little bit but spent 80% of my time playing Counter Strike 1.6 and then CS Go.

Just started Fallen Order and liking it.
Already downloaded Forza 4 andlooking forward to the Gears of War series. And just for fun: Donut county, Human Fall Flat and TABS.
Also downloaded The Witcher 3, but I’m intimated because it’s a long dedication kind of game(from what I heard).
My main game though is Madden 21.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure - isometric platformer. The 3D world of Little Big Planet universe.

its super chill and has decent difficulty when it comes to finding things

not terribly difficult overall either but not easy in an unchallenging way, and charming.

Looks pretty on PS5, good breather from other story driven / open world games, etc.

This game came with my PS5 bundle but I haven't opened it yet. I think I'll check it out after I finish AC Valhalla.

Anyone playing Hitman 3?

I haven’t finished Hitman 2 yet, but I love those games.

I watched quite a few ‘hands-on’ with Hitman, and as an avid fan of the previous versions, H3 received mainly positive reviews, but it’s so lackluster with the ambience in this years setting , and there’s quite a few glitches, but I don’t think that’s mainly a big deal. I just don’t think Hitman was what it used to be since ‘Blood money’.

In other words, buy it when it's on sale :D

Demon‘s Souls.

Need a little help. Beat the first boss, now I am not sure where to go next. Made it to the Tower Knight, but it felt like I was really underpowered for this boss. So I tried some different levels, and felt equally underpowered... :D Do I need to just replay the first map a few times to level up more?

Also, the souls you get from bosses: Do I just use them for souls, or can they be traded for special items, like in Dark Souls 3?

You can use them for more than just souls. Here's a list if you don't mind spoilers.

im stuck after phalanx too

I’m the knight and just not very good at the game

the graphics are great and the game is rewarding when you get past a section but it’s very difficult (as I expected . Maybe too difficult for me tho)

Hearthstone - it’s a perfect casual game for me - you can play a quick game on any device.

I only played AC1 and then from origins on.

I didn't care for Origins story much. Just wasn't too interested in Bayek, gameplay was fine.

Loved, loved, loved Odyssey. Kassandra has been my favorite.

I'm happy with Valhalla, but it doesn't have the same pull for me as Odyssey had.

I'm starting to go through my "I bought this and didn't have time to play it and eventually got it for free with Playstation Plus" queue. About three hours into Rise of the Tomb Raider and am really enjoying it.

I bought the whole series during some crazy discount and loved them all. Sure hope they're working on a next one (rumor says they are).

I started with one of my backlog games; Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. It's a little dated but the PS5 makes up for it by making the loading times almost non-existent.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

I've put about 50 hours into it so far, and I haven't even really started the main story. It is darn good, but I am also a sucker for the Zelda series. The freedom in exploration and discovery just pulls me straight in.

I've played two of the "optional" tombs and am scratching my head wondering why anyone would choose not to play them in a game called "Tomb Raider".
