mine is mr.twietee

although it'll take a good while until I upload anything. I'm not really interested in all those skins, but I kinda like the Skinny Mario everybody hates :D

And I'd like a Mario Maker skin for the NSMBU levels - not sure that exists though.

Mario Maker - awesome game.

Been playing some time yesterday and had to observe: I do prefer lots of Japanese made levels - quite some puzzlers out there! Also the skins grew on me, like them all so far. Also really dig the SMB levels - which was unexpected - NSMB U ones get skipped mostly. I hope Ninty patches the search system asap though - would love to easily follow some others to see what they play/made. Also would prefer the comments being in-game and not within the miiverse.

I tried searching for the Dragon Ball "Head cha la" level today. You can't search for names! It has to be the course ID! That really sucks and I hope they patch in text searching.

I find myself skipping New Mario levels too - I've never liked the art direction or music in those games. But Mario 3 and Mario World are two of my favourite games of all time so I'm happy! Even taking a liking to SMB1 just because of the costumes.

Bloodborne Progress Blog:

Finally killed Eileen Crow. What a bitch!

Next up: Machine Gun Dude, and whatever boss awaits in Old Yarnham!

Yep, plenty to patch/ improve. Although the codes remind me on the old times - quite retro if you look at it that way. But agreed, they should spend some time to make it more convenient. I'd like a zoom out option too, so I can get a better overview over the course while creating it. Pretty sure this game will receive plenty of patches and hopefully DLC (that's probably the first time I said that)..

New Mario: I like the grass-land theme and the underwater section looks good too. But overall my lesser go-to sheme as well. But alas, the other three gems are brilliant and quite addicting. Initially I thought I'd be all over SMW all the time, but the NES ones came out so much stronger than expected. Also have to take back what I said about the skins - they're totally awesome if handled right.

Started to get a little bored of Splatoon and Rocket League, so picked up Mario Maker. Having fun so far.

Level Search needs serious work. We need to be able search by level type and skill, with more sortable categories, among other things. Unlocking the content takes forever it seems. Otherwise, it's pretty cool. The shear number of levels (already like a million uploaded or some crazy number like that) is just mind boggling.

Nice diversion to be able to play a quick level or two given that I don't have much time to game lately.
Still waiting for work to ease up enough to start Witcher III...

Your getting good. Time to be kidnapped and hit the next difficulty wall like a ton of bricks....

I saw a big guy that looked like he was carrying a potato sack, is that Mr. Kidnappy? I ran away scared! :D

I made Old Yarnham my bitch though. Completely cleared of all monsters, explored and collected all the goodies!

Also cleared out the church of healing workshop, but ended up at a locked door. Do I need a key for this?

Next up: Cathedral Ward boss (Vicar Someone?) and whatever lies beyond!

Oh, is the Blade of Mercy worth the ridiculous high price of 40k blood echoes? What's special about it? Should I start saving?

Yeah that's Mr. Kidnappy. Once you are the difficulty level ramps up that it feels like the first time you ever played the game. I was leaping through all the areas too including old yarnham, and even Cathedral ward and then BLAM! Smack! Pow!!!! Back to square 1. Avoid them if you can but inevitably you will get caught so level up as much as you can whilst you can.

Sweet clearing Old Yarnham. And yes, potato sack guys will kidnap you if they kill you.

Yes, to get to 'Upper Cathedral Ward' from healing church workshop you need a key, which you won't get until later.
Be sure you got the 'Radiant Hunter Badge' from healing church workshop, which allows you to buy fire paper and Ludwig's Holy Blade, one of the best weapons in the game. Be sure to find the 'Abandon Old Workshop' so you can pick up 1/3 Umbilical Cord. It's a secret way down to it from healing workshop - use a walkthrough video to find it.

Blades of Mercy, which you got access to early by killing Eileen the Crow and getting Crow Hunter Badge kind of suck for PvE. Only good against single enemies, useless against shields and very poor against groups of enemies. They are very short range, but super quick. Maybe good for PvP, but not PvE. Put your Blood Echos into Ludwig's Holy Blade, which makes a great second or even primary weapon.

On to Vicar Amelia. Good luck!

I'm playing on the PS4 and I welcome all :)..as long as you don't mind me being a complete new comer to Destiny.(I know nothing of it)

Bless

Tempted to take the plunge .... Though same time scared it may just become another of the myriad of backlog games including the witcher 3 and batman.

Destiny is kind of over-rated, but if you put together a good crew from friends or members on this board, I'm sure you will enjoy it much more than trying to play solo.

I hear you about backlog. Mines not too bad now, but come the big holiday releases, my oh my, I think I'm going to cry over all of the (hopefully) great titles coming out that I will want to play.

Just finished The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D! Excellent game!
First Zelda game I've really played and finished, not really counting dabbling with Zelda 1 and 2 as a young kid.
Now I have to play all the other Legend of Zelda games I've been missing out on!

I'm going with a couple shorter, lighter games for now though. I'm going to try Eacape Goat and DLC Quest 2 on X360.

Ah, thanks. Right now, I am using a saw cleaver for quick agile attacks and the kirkhammer for slower but devastatingly strong hits of doom. Both tricked out to the first twin shard upgrade. Would Ludwig's Blade be a good complement to this configuration?

Also found a free rifle spear, but can't use it yet due to stats. Is this a good weapon?

You can't go wrong with Saw Cleaver as your main weapon for it's speed and versatility, great choice.

I like Ludwig's over Kirkhammer, as it a bit faster with longer reach. It get's pretty devastating too when you start upgrading it. Never could get into Kirkhammer, just too slow for my taste.

I think you will like Ludwig's, as it's faster than Kirkhammer in long form, and almost as fast as saw cleaver in short form. It's a good weapon for a 'quality build', i.e. STR/SKILL build. Kirkhammer is a little better for pure strength build.

I never used rifle spear extensively, so can't comment there. While I tried just about everything briefly, only weapons I stuck with to end game were AXE, LUDWIG'S HOLY BLADE, TONITRUS, and HUNTER PISTOL. Funny, but the starting weapons really are the best I think in this game.

There is really no wrong choice though. Use whatever weapon's move set feels best, just be mindful of your stats and how the weapons scale to those stats.

Thanks, great advice.

Oh, and I did get kidnapped last night. Almost took down Mr. Kidnappy, he had but a shred of health left, but then the crows teamed up with him! :D Explored the prison. Took down the Mr. Kidnappies by luring them into places where they get stuck, then kirkhammering them into oblivion. Went outside one way and got destroyed by a giant pig. Went another way and met the Dark Beast Paarl. That thing killed me before I could even get a nibble in. I feel like I am not ready for this area.

Also ran up to the cathedral and took a left halfway up the stairs. Ended up in some sort of forest and got destroyed by an army of riflemen. :)
