Doesn't unlock here for another few hours :(
And I'm stuck at work for the next few, so I'm not really better off - I literally only had 15 minutes this morning.

On the plus side, the unlock is instant and you don't need to download anything additional.

So at the moment, Fallout is my go-to game. But I'm really reluctant to play it if I've only got an hour or so free. It just never feels like enough, and that I'll waste that time not doing very much (it's the kind of game that encourages dawdling). I need like a good evening to get the most out of it.

Also, I can't seem to escape Tri Force Heroes. It's all one particular group of friends want to play so I've been enlisted to help finish it. Hoping to kill it once and for all this week.

You're right. Fallout 4 like bloodborne does not really reward people with little time. 1 hour makes negligible progress in either.

Just ordered Bloodborne the old hunter expansion pack. Since they basically forced the content to us via a 9gb patch the other day I may as well have access to it ....

Masochist! ;)

Have you beaten Vicar Amelia in the main game yet? You won't be able to access the DLC if you haven't.

Uncharted 1 Remaster: Made some good progress tonight. My wife and I are trying to find all treasures in one run. So we progress rather slowly... :)

Finished the game - awesome time, I always loved the first one. It's aged well, too. The characters and story feel surprisingly fleshed out and mature for a new IP game.

We missed 3 treasures, out of 61! Going back to the respective chapters to find them. Of course they have to be in the three longest chapters of the entire game!

Not bad. I did 3 runs of Uncharted 1 and 2: once on normal for the story, once on hard for treasure collecting and misc. trophies I missed, and one last time on Crushing. I think I'll just stick to one normal run of Uncharted 3 this time. I don't care about getting trophies anymore

I tried a chalice dungeon and got pawned severely. Though dos get tiny little bit further so I must be improving even if it's only by tiny amounts.

How did people finish this game in less than a week??!!

Tried a chalice dungeon tonight for the first time. Thought it would be a good grinding place to build up echoes and vials. Made it down to layer 3, and the goodies are barely worth the trouble. :( How many layers are there?

Lmao !!!!!!! I'm still on layer 1 hahaha

How to demoralise MRU :D

Undead giant just kicks my ass every time.

250k??

That's got to hurt!
All the time I was thinking "I should go and spend these, but then I have to kill everything again... and there must be a lamp any moment now".

I haven't played again since losing those echoes; my extended edition of the third Hobbit turned up yesterday so that kept me occupied after dinner :p

I just can't imagine ever getting to the point where I have 20,000 echoes let alone 250k !!! Mind blowing. I just really suck at this game and yet I really like it. It's actually a case where an optional easy mode or a dynamic one (that can tell a player is struggling beyond normal realms) would benefit this game without taking away anything at all from those that thrive on the harder difficulty.

In a way the difficulty level is worse than paid DLC because I've bought the game. I have every right to see all parts of it and yet they are locking me out with a difficulty level that I just don't think I'll ever adjust to and knowing that it frustrates me more than the difficulty alone ...

And, of course, there was indeed a lamp... down the path that I didn't see the first time. Argh!

Dodge roll when he attacks to get behind him, then get a few hits in. Rinse, repeat! :)

EDIT: That's actually been my strategy for pretty much EVERY boss fight in this game. Just roll around like a bouncing ball and get a few hits in every once in awhile! :D

Been playing Shadowrun Dragonfall. It was a bit hard to get into but I got the hang of it.

Oh jeez, I completely forgot about Bloodborne. I was so excited to get it, but I've barely scratched the surface of it yet. I really need to get a handle on my backlog before buying anything else....yet as I type this I was going to go check on prices for Battlefront...

LOL ... yeah were all in the same boat :D And blackfriday savings are not helping at all !!

Finally got round to COD black opps 3 I bought the other week.
Although I've played all the others, this is the first on the PS4. I was a little concerned it would bother me, but it was all good once it got going.
Anyway, thoroughly enjoyable. Given the time I'll have to play the campaign, I'll probably still be playing at Christmas.

Sigh... I traded some games in and picked up COD BLOPS 3, kinda prefer COD to BF.

Anyway, so I like the game, it runs well, and then our 7 month old Spaniel puppy decides he likes the power lead to my router, sigh, so after some electrical tape fixing (he got it in 3 places!) it still works, but now my speeds to my PS4 go from 10 to 11mbps down to 1.4 to 3.3 mbps!!! So yeah, trying to play online is a challenge. I can move the cable and get me 11mbps but then it drops back down. He didn't break the cable.

Ahhhhh!! Anyway I'm changing provider hopefully next month or January so I'll get a new router then. The lil bugger lol. Thought it was a funny story, even if it is a low voltage you'd have thought he would have got a little shock as he bit it down to the copper wire?

On and I'm still playing through SOMA when I am brave enough, that game gives me the beegees hahaha.. embarrassing at my age.

Bloodborne Progress Blog:

Slaughtered the Upper Cathedral Ward boss! (Celeste, the Missionary? Something like that... :D) Wasn't too hard, just need to be patient and not get greedy for hits.

Finished Layer 3 of my chalice dungeon and can't seem to find my way to layer 4. Maybe there isn't one? Does the game let me know when I am finished with a dungeon?

Then just ran a few relaxed rounds through Central Yarnham to stock up on blood vials again. Those brick-wielding ogres are my new best friends. Always carry multiple vials, and I can kill them with one swing of the hammer! :D

Next up, my options are:
- Try to kill Captain Logarious in Cainhurst
- Try to kill whatever boss awaits in the Unseen Village (opened the shortcuts, but haven't checked out boss yet)
- Explore the Nightmare Frontier

I finished up Uncharted 3. Fun game but I think I might prefer Uncharted 2 a little more.

I guess I'm kinda technically done with my backlog now. I still have 3 Wii U games to play (ZombiU, Monster Hunter 3, and Pikmin 3) but no Wii U to play them on until next week. When that gets here I'll be back to 5 games in my backlog, counting Splat and Smash.

Until then I might play a game of Civ V.
