Spent the last week fully engrossed in the Witcher 3. May have taken me an age to get around to actually playing it but by god it's great and absolutely massive !!!!

Also bought a few games in the January PSN sale such as Starwars Battlefront, Shovel Knight etc.. Heaven knows when I'll actually play them. The next game I must finally play after buying it and the season pass at launch is Batman Arkham Knight which is long overdue and another massive game as I now have all the DLC too ...

Star Wars Battlefront! Got it for Christmas and I'm pretty hooked. Reminds me a lot of Goldeneye with its nice and simple gameplay.

I just bought Splatoon this week and I've been having a blast. I have never liked shooting games, but now I'm wasting too many hours painting walls and squid people with ink. The only problem is that it takes forever to find players online, but that could be because so far I've only had time to play when most people are at work or school.

I've just started the Witcher 3, only like an hour into it. Also been slowly making my way through Shovel Knight on Wii U. Challenging, but rewarding when you get it right.

I'm about 65 hours in on the Witcher 3 and there are still a good 40% of the world map I haven't fully explored. The game is ridiculously huge and utterly brilliant.

That's like asking how long is a piece of string ....

You have given no parameters to aid anyone answering that question.

Well if we're talking string Cut the Rope might be good...

In all seriousness though Tales of Zesteria was awesome!

Bloodborne Progess Blog:

Looks like I'm close to finishing the Old Hunters DLC. I need to beat the two shark giants under the well (those tossers deal CRAZY damage!), and then the final boss fight.

And then it's off to the final chapter of the main game! :)

EDIT: Is it worth it doing all the chalice dungeons? If I do that and see the different game endings, I have a shot at the platinum trophy!

That's crazy !!!! But awesome

Did Platinum just some days ago. For me it was the hardest gaming experience, but also the most satisfying. Definitive one of my Top 3 Games ever, if not the best.

How much of a pain is the Queen of Yarnham trophy?

And is there a way to see the three different endings without playing through the whole game three times?

If you are high level (about 140) then she is not the main problem. The depth 5 amygdala for example is much harder. And yes there is a workaround with USB Stick and savegame to get all three endings.

I finally started to make some real progress in Wind Waker today. I'm almost done with the Tower of the Gods dungeon. I kinda got addicted to Splatoon for the last 2 weeks so haven't given Zelda much attention.

Bloodborne Progress Blog:

Finished the DLC expansion tonight. That last boss took me three long nights of trying. By far the hardest I have encountered so far. Then I hop on youtube and see some clown beat this boss with no armor and no weapons, not getting hit a single time. Ridiculous!

Also started the third chalice dungeon. Still not sure if I want to finish all those for platinum...

Halo 5 price drop to $40 plus used is now $35 with a coupon brought it down to $27.

My first XBox One game that's not an "update" of an old game (Gears of War) or a game that's also available on PS3/XB360 (Destiny).

Didn't want to wait for updates, so I took my XBox offline and just started the solo stuff.

OMG - is that in-game cinematics or video? That's Nathan Fillion right?

No. Chalice Dungeons do not scale with new game plus.

Thanks. So not scaling means the difficulty does not increase, right? Do I have to replay them though, or does it save the progress I made in the first run, and I can continue where I left off?

I have beaten the first two dungeons. I want to beat them all eventually, but I would finish the main game first if I don't have to start over on the dungeons.

Just finish the Main game and progress in lvl. You will need it for the deepest dungeons
