Trying to use OF to get the TI G4 1GHZ to recognize 2GB of memory since this model came out when MDD did and that supports 2GB.
It won’t. It’s standard SD memory, not DDR. They don’t make any 1GB SD sticks.Trying to use OF to get the TI G4 1GHZ to recognize 2GB of memory since this model came out when MDD did and that supports 2GB.
The old "FAQ for PowerPC Macs" should be taken down, it seems unused and the knowledge could be transferred to the starter thread. In its place we should have this thread pinned. Also, why have the Mods not pinned this thread?
Agreed, is there a limit of how many threads can be pinned? I only joined here about a year ago and have never used any of the other forums. The old "FAQ for PowerPC Macs" should be taken down, it seems unused and the knowledge could be transferred to the starter thread. You'll have to ask the mods that, but we seem to have a disproportionate amount of pinned threads compared to other forums. Not necessarily a bad thing though...Agreed, is there a limit of how many threads can be pinned? I only joined here about a year ago and have never used any of the other forums.
How would I do that? On a side note this place is one of the best I go on, if this place didn’t exist I would’ve probably started macosxlives.com but as of now there really is no need. You'll have to ask the mods that, but we seem to have a disproportionate amount of pinned threads compared to other forums. I think this might be it? I'm sure they lurk here anyways. How would I do that?
If only final Leo included an option to fully switch to Tiger's UI...This is the earliest known build of Leopard and it's basically Tiger
Is it built with an older version of GCC? I reinstalled Macbuntu on the iBook G3 today, and would love to give it a try.I built the SeaMonkey Suite for 32-bit powerpc Linux today. I missed having an "all-in-one" browser, email, rss, news, composer, irc client". It's not the latest, but it's new enough. I did patch up oauth2 though for better mail support. Info and download here at the bottom of the page.
