Layout on the bottom screens is complete. Need to decide what's going on the HDTV above, as well as add back my various FX on the bottom screens.

Yes…it looks 'off' width wise. That's because I have a 4K HDTV on the left and only a 23" Cinema Display on the right. It's not even.

So, as is normal with me…changes. What you don't see is the iteration between the last one and this one. Ultimately, neither of the two which I liked.

This is better…until I change it again, LOL.

I'll leave the center graphics without explanation for now.

And applied…

EDIT: Looks like I'll have to make some adjustments to the far left monitor in the PSD file next go around. The connector isn't lining up. And I can see some other minor edits to the mask on Julie London on the right. At least it keeps me busy. :)

Current setup, not including Macbooks.
iMac 12,1 running HS. Mac Mini 3,1 being patched to HS on the HP monitor, shared with Windows machine. Adaptor on way to enable both machines to be permanently connected to said monitor, as well as an SSD for the mini.

And jeepers, I'd forgotten how tedious it can be installing macos on a spinning drive...
*loses the will to live*
😳
There was this one time I installed OS X Leopard to the SD micro card inside my HTC Touch Pro (2009 era phone). I then booted my 17" PowerBook G4 off the card.

While I was waiting for it to boot, I went out and mowed the back yard. :D

OK, leaving the Mac Mini alone for a bit, I see notifications on the MBP8,2 that OCLP can now do Sonoma 14.4.x, so have updated OCLP and set it doing an OTA update from Monterey. Meanwhile, the iMac 12,1 is also updated to OCLP 1.4.3 and installing 14.3.1 off an already built flash drive, Out all day tomorrow, bt on Wednesday I can let the iMac go all the way too. Will also have by then, I hope, the adaptor to enable simultaneous connection of PC and Mac Mini to my monitor, and a battery for the MB2,1.

Ran the most recent Ubuntu update on my 08 5,1 and it made the desktop buggy, the windows dark, laggy and transparent & it turned my icons black.

So I ran sudo auto remove via terminal to get a functional desktop back and am happy to report post update rollback, all is functioning as it should but I forgot to look at what update it was to post a bug report. Some of the behavior reminded me of driver issues while others, perhaps more along the line of theme incompatibility.

Now I’m scared to update this laptop LOL. :D

Installed both MacOS Sonoma + Windows 11 on my iMac 24" from 2009.
Both run much better than expected on this 15 year old hardware!

Have received the mini-DVI-to-VGA adaptor and the new battery for the MacBook 2,1 and I'm typing this on the 2009 Mac Mini running Monterey. All good so far, except it doesn't want to talk to the Airport Extreme. OK with other router.

back on the 15" retina late 2013! got Paralells desktop 11 setup with windows 8.1 running Final Fantasy II Pixel Remaster
