Yes, it certainly has been the best option to take each instance of the macOS versions onto dedicated SSDs.Oh, okay, you installed it on a separate drive. I thought you had partitioned your SDD. Separate drives would definitely make it easier.

yes, my MacBook Pro 2012 is the last device to do that I think.Oh, okay, you installed it on a separate drive. I thought you had partitioned your SDD. Separate drives would definitely make it easier.
great post, Bravo!I still run Mojave on my 2015 macbook pro and my 2019 iMac. The only thing I had to deal with was that some websites, like ESPN don't work well with the older version of safari so I use brave, chrome, firefox or edge. They all work fine.
I still using Premiere 2020 on it as well, which for the editing I do on it, doesn't hurt me at all. When someone gives me a Premiere project from a newer version just to do minor edits, I use this site to downgrade it: http://joshcluderay.com/downgrade-premiere-project-converter/
Similarly, I've stuck with an earlier version of MS Office 2021 (16.54 - the current up to date version is 16.69) and I don't notice any problem with that or compatability issues with current office documents whatsoever.
As far as games, a good handful of the games I still like to play are 32-bit. Then I also have Windows installed via Bootcamp on both computers, so I'll usually boot into Windows to run Steam and have plenty of games on that side.
So all in all, life with Mojave doesn't feel 'obsolete' to me whatsoever.
Is this an early April Fools joke.....?GUYS! GU- Umm MOJAVIANS!!!!!
our friends in Cuppertino just released a security update for Mojave!
this includes a Safari update with I am performing now.
wow how great is this?
me too, maybe I had an older one and finally updated my MacBook Pro 2012I am already using that version of Safari.....!
From way back....🤔
I am still in the process of importing my CD collection, so still use my SuperDrive, plus have tons of disks from iCreate mag and 3D related mags which need scouring through for assets/useful stuff.......On my MacBook Pro 2012 I have Mojave (yeah, hurrah) and Monterey (golf clap)
on 2 discs, who needs a DVD in 2023? mot Me!
these MacBooks and everything from 2012 seem to flourish in 2023Interesting discovery: My old Macbook Air 2012 had sporadic crashes with the screen showing always the same weird rectangle pattern and the computer not reacting to any command: I had these crashes several times a day and thought my graphic card were dying.
I reinstalled (without great hope) a clean Mojave and imported all my stuff from a clone copy.
Bingo! the crashes are gone. My good old hardware is running like it always did.
Long life to my freshly reinstalled Mojave !
The most important improvement in 2012 was USB3 !these MacBooks and everything from 2012 seem to flourish in 2023
seems to me the graphic card is much better that the 2011 versions.
My MBA 2010 is okay but not as good as the 2012 MBP.
Yes, I lost my only USB3 thumb drive for a Catalina reinstall on the MBP2012The most important improvement in 2012 was USB3 !
Mojave runs practically without delay from USB3-SSDs. This is awesome.Yes, I lost my only USB3 thumb drive for a Catalina reinstall on the MBP2012
luckily I found that instead of the other drives have.
And that is exactly what I love ! Nobody will remove any functionality. Now that Monterey is out, there will not be any updates to Mojave.
I've never heard of an application that works that way. It sounds very advanced. I wonder why no other applications have copied thatI am still on Mojave because I did not yet find a decent replacement for Photoimpact on Wine.
This is still a 32 bit Windows app, but I can't find anything so easy to use.
What makes Photo impact so special, is that every selection becomes immediately an object that gets it's own treatment, you can distort it, shadow it, move it, change everything and jump to the next object with a single click.
You can use layers, but can do a lot directly without needing any layer.
On the top of it you can add custom 3 D objects and texts, like SVG processors do.
What could be a decent successor running natively on macOS and being 64 bits?
I found none that processes objects so easily than Photoimpact.
Photoimpact is a 32 bit app from 2010 which was bought and killed by Corel.I've never heard of an application that works that way. It sounds very advanced.
Not fully true.Sadly no more OS updates.
