Filled out poll stating I own an Air 2 and IPP 9.7". I use the IPP most of the day for simple tasks...browsing, reading. But I am waiting for release of the rumored 10.5". I certainly dont need it but I do enjoy not having to worry if its current enough for an update. I also want more storage than the 32gb I have in the IPP. Plus after replacement I always gift the older one to a daughter or grandaughter, I enjoy being able to do that.

I use an iPad Air 2 as my main daily driver. I use it with my camera that can send photos via wifi to the iPad for viewing along with controlling the camera itself. At home I also use it for gaming and youtube often.

iPad mini 2 is my secondary iPad.. I had it before the Air 2 and usually only use it if I am going out someplace that isn't for work and want something smaller. This doesn't happen as frequently though because of the Plus sized iPhones now.

Excited to upgrade to a 12.9" iPad Pro as soon as 2nd gen. is announced. I've had my eyes on it since the 1st 12.9" Version was announced but I prefer waiting for 2nd gen. so they can get any flaws straightened out (hopefully haha).

If the iPad 2 and iPad Air 2 are any indication the Pro 2 will be a absolute monster.

Apparently, I've got the wrong one ...mine's showing that the poll's total percentage is greater than 126%! How's that work?

So you can avoid the same mistake I made... as mine apparently can't do simple addition, I'm using the 12.9" iPP. For all other apps and applications I need it for, it's amazing

Some reason, simple addition kicks it's a.....

PS: why is the poll in excess of 126%?
Just wondering
Quite likely, 26% of voters have more than one iPad.

Apple Refirbished 16Gb Air 1 is the only one I have and use 95% of the time leaving my MBP to gather dust.

A jump up to any Pro model would be welcome, it's just a matter of seeing what new models, if any, materialize this year.

I understand the feeling, my Air 2 has replaced my MacBook Pro for a solid 96% of use;). So I will also be eagerly waiting to see what the Pro 2 brings to the table. My MBP has also begun to gather dust I have converted it to a desktop for whenever I am at my desk, but even then usually just use my iPad still.

Yup, my MBP is setup the same way, as a desktop. I had in my head that I really 'needed' to replace it with a new MBP, thank God I realized I only 'wanted' to do so and actually have no use for a powerful, not to mention very expensive, laptop.

Yah I know its crazy

I use an iPad Pro 12.9 for everything. It's my daily work machine for lesson planning, writing, drawing, handouts, presentations, etc. The iPad Pro CAN be a laptop replacement for SOME people.

I have a mini 2 that I keep next to the bed for reading and browsing at night, and an Air 2 for my main iPad needs. I don't foresee the need to upgrade any time in the near future :)

Been using a 9.7" Pro for over a year now. Heavy use with a big 50/50 mix of portrait for reading/browsing and landscape while docked on the keyboard.

Thinking of picking up a mini 4 for pure reading and replacing the 9.7" with a future 12.9" model for more screen real estate.

I'm shocked by all the people that have and use 2 different iPads based on what they are doing.

My original opinion was that one iPad should be sufficient. I found myself that I kept trying to use just one iPad (kind of like choosing one iPhone size). But iPads becoming primary devices and laptop replacements in many respects, I don't think it should be looked at oddly to have multiple iPads. I mean, it's definitely not uncommon to see people with multiple computers/Macs (desktop, laptop, etc).

Outside of the office 95% of my computing is done on an iPad (the rest is some random tasks on an iMac at home). Honestly, I'm hoping to one day see something even significantly bigger than the 12.9" iPad and I'd get it to replace my iMac at home.

I'm also a techie, I like my gear and have way more than I need. 3 desktops, 5 laptops, 2 tablets and 2 phones is way more than needed. But this stuff is also my career.
That makes since and I'm definitely a enthusiast of tech as well but in the past year I guess Ive taken a view of wanting the most minimal amount of devices for my needs. So here it is
1.iPhone
2.iPad
3 MacBook Pro
4. Apple Watch

I tried that approach. I went down to one desktop and one laptop plus iPads and phones and broke down and the main machines grew again. It's a disease. It bites you from time to time. No one needs Three Thinkpad's and 2 Mac Laptops. But I find "uses" for them all. At least that's what I tell myself. Right now it's one screen size for different occasions. 12.5" Thinkpad, 14" Thinkpad, 15.6" Thinkpad, 12" PowerBook, 13.3" MacBook 15.6" MacBook Pro. It's a problem I admit it.

I have my various devices for their own uses.
iPad Air 2 for browsing, online chat, etc.
iPad mini 2 for bedtime ipad ding, as it is smaller and lighter.
Mac Pro 2010 as my digital hub, my go to machine for most anything.
MacBook Air 11" 2015 as a small, portable version of my Pro.
iPhone SE as my main pocket computer when out and about.
Apple Watch to interact with the phone when I'm lazy.
iMac G4 17" for old games and apps.
Mac mini 2012 as my media/backup/web/VM server.

I have an iPad Mini 2 and a 9.7 iPad Pro. I bought the Pro in January. I haven't used either iPad in a few weeks and so I put them in a drawer last week.

I'm sure I'll get them out again.
