8 Plus. I was an annual launch day adopter since the 3GS. This would have continued, but I’m one of the rare who struggle with the pwm in Apple’s OLED screens. My last attempt was the 11 Pro Max. Loved that phone, so much, but the discomfort won the battle. I tried the regular 11 numerous times but just do not like it compared to my 8 Plus. If I can’t use the 12 Pro Max, I guess it’ll be my first dance with Android in 9 years.

iPhone SE2. Came from an iPhone X. Loved it, just couldn’t pay that much for a phone again and when it does last month we were too close to the 12 to go with the 11. Got one for $250 (128g) through Walmart. Gonna see what the 5.4 12 looks like.

11 Pro as my DD and SE2 as work device

Definitely looking forward to Apple hopefully releasing a 5.4" iPhone 12 in the fall as that would be the sweet spot for me.

Good thing I still love my X...

I just searched my budget program, trying to remember when I bought it. I got the entry level model, so I've always thought of it as a "thousand dollar" phone. Funny how I quickly forgot how much Apple Care+, Leather case, and local sale tax added to that transaction. I think I'm going to try to keep it longer now.

Two and a half year old iPhone X still going strong. Plan on getting the battery replaced and using it as backup when I get the 6.1 Pro 12 around Christmas

I hear you. I would still be using my 7 if it didn’t have a problem with the mics again. I was extra cheap because I didn’t want to spend a thousand bucks on a phone. I got mine certified preowned at half price, plus AppleCare, and a case and tax on all of it brings me to about your cost, but in beaver bux. My phone would have cost me 1650 plus tax and AppleCare. I’ll be using this phone until I can’t. If I go through a couple of batteries that’s ok with me. I bought her an SE2 and don’t see myself using one unless I had to. I’ve never had the newest phone anyways.

What's your battery like? Mine says 93% so I'm pretty happy about it. Mine never gets fast charged and I've never used wireless charging, hoping to preserve the battery's life.
