I've had a Xs for a year and a half. Prior to that I had a 5 for five years and eight months. (Just couldn't make it to six yrs. for some reason.) When the battery on my first 5 started to fail, the insurance covered a new one with a small deductible. When I lost my first Xs after six months, the deductible was ouchie.

Jet Black 7 Plus, the last reasonably priced flagship iPhone.

In all honesty I absolutely loved this phone. I remember when I first got it. It was so sleek and true “black”. The iPhone 7 matte black was black as well but this was deep black. All the black color options afterward has not been black. Even the iPhone SE 2 (2020) (2nd Generation) isn’t black.

I like a stealthy black phone and this phone was it. I did get black in my iPhone SE 2 (2020) (2nd Generation) but I still love the iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black!

My wife and I both have Iphone 8. We update at the same time and our last phones were 6s. We were totally happy with the 6s phones and had no plans to upgrade for some time but mine started acting up. We wanted to stay with touch ID and the Iphone 8 fills our needs.

What's your battery like? Mine says 93% so I'm pretty happy about it. Mine never gets fast charged and I've never used wireless charging, hoping to preserve the battery's life.

It just hit 90% capacity.. I figure by December it will be time to have Apple replace the battery.
