Other What iPhone colour do you tend to go with?

I’ve had many colours over the years but I’ve always wanted a purple iPhone. Now it looks like one might be coming, but I won’t be buying as I promised myself that the XS Max would last me 4-5 years.

5S - gold
6 Plus - silver

Earlier iPhones I only would go with a light color so the bevels were white. I think that’s a cleaner look when compared to black. However, with the iPhone X it didn’t really matter to me since the screen is the same and I use a case.

I normally go for black or grey phones, however when I saw the blue XR I just couldn't resist. Brilliant colour, I just wish I could have had it with a stainless steel bezel.

The color you didn't list is pink. I loved my pink se but the didn't have pink with the iphone X. But if they ever did come out with another pink one I might then consider upgrading. I love pink. Now I am just content to have a pink case and a pink picture

This topic was based on the recent phones not the older ones but still even if you have older iPhones the colours they were is still an option with the poll.

I did not buy an XR. You limited the scope of your poll, not me. You left out the red 7 as well. You did not indicate "choose the closest match" and for multi-generational colors such as silver, you simply listed the color. You were specific in your poll, and thus my response is correct and proper. "If you have an XR" is very clearly limited to that model.

All my iPhones over the years have been either white or silver, as those to me are more the "classic" colors of Apple hardware.

Historically always went with black / space grey. Had a change for the iPhone 7 and picked silver but really didn’t like the white front plate after a while. To me, it made the screen seem smaller.

For the XS, I went with silver, though, because I love the colour of the back and the stainless steel band and it has the same front as the space grey variant.

I was partial to white from like 3G onward. Then with 5S and after Space Grey. With 7 I started picking the color the phone looked best in...

With the bezels essentially gone, the color of the phone has meant less to me than ever given I use a case.

That said, this could change for me come September. If Apple does indeed go with a triple lens camera, and renders are even close to being accurate, I’ll 100% go space grey as I feel the large black camera lenses will stick out immensely on the lighter color(s) offered.

This is along the lines of what I was thinking. Have you seen something different? I’d be curious to see if so. If, huge if, they look like this, I think I’d prefer the lenses to blend more like they do on the space grey.

Your post sounded like you were ashamed of having an iPhone, not just neutral. You wouldn’t necessarily have a reason to set out to let people know you have an iPhone, but it’d be quite odd to be ashamed of it.
