Went surfing at a 4x4 only valley that has semi wild horses.

Burgers and dogs taste better the closer their proximity to the water.

I hope you got a burger and hotdog before your wild visitors had their lunch!

Now that we are fully vaccinated we decided to go to a favorite brunch spot. Unfortunately everyone else is also fully vaccinated as well now so it was an hour wait for a table.

Luckily there is a mom and pop place down the street that does excellent take away breakfast. We decided to go there, and eat brunch with a view on the beach.

It was also only 1/3 the price of the fancy place.

I guess I am reading something into your misleading sentence then :D It was too windy for your comfort I guess??? Yah I have not used gas in like 25 years but I will not pass up/off gas grilled food either.👍
Not sure what you mean by misleading. Wind can impact a charcoal BBQ but has no impact on a gas one.

Gazpacho, humus with pita bread, cherry tomatoes, nuts, apple and banana. 100% healthy. Two hours ago. And now I could kill for some pizza...

Came home ravenously hungry, and decided to see how the air fryer did with cauliflower. Breaded them, and then tossed in Soy Vey garlic hoisin teriyaki sauce.

About to drop the plantains next.

Was so hungry I couldn't hardly compose a photo lol.

Also made some plantains with sweet chili sauce.

In a coffee shop.
Dinner this evening is fillet of wild trout sautéed in butter; served with a dish of roasted cherry tomatoes, roasted (very finely sliced) potatoes, and mashed peas (briefly boiled, then sautéed with finely diced and sautéed onion, minced garlic and red chilli pepper, and then mashed).

A dish of aioli (homemade garlic mayonnaise - new season fresh minced garlic) organic, free range egg yolks, and olive oil, to accompany.

Also to accompany is a dish of finely diced chilli pepper with sea salt, and sugar, - which were greeted by my pestle and mortar, that was fun - to which was added a few dessertspoons of fish sauce, mirin sauce, olive oil, and some freshly squeezed lime juice, chopped chives and chopped coriander, whereupon it was all stirred together.

And a glass of two of Italian white wine.

I have had dinner but am hungry again after reading your post! Sounds very tasty indeed.

We made this last week, Mutton ragu with polenta and greens. Was nice, wiesenburger mill KY grits makes great polenta. Greens are grown down the road about 7 mile, picked every day by some dedicated farmers kids and family.
I could tell ya the mutton story but it doesn't end well. :D
