My monthly treat tonight. Trip to the fish and chip van. Had to work real hard this week though as I'd put a couple of lb on. Ended up at 11 stone 4lb so no issue with a treat as that's the lightest I've ever been as an adult.
That is only 158 lbs. Unless you are really short you can have that treat more than once every four weeks. Just my opinion of course.

About 6 years ago I was 230 lb, so I monitor my weight weekly. I do have the odd other treat as well, but in terms of take always about once a month works for me. Mrs AFB is very limited on what she can eat, so when she does have a treat it usually has dire consequences for her.

That has been quite a weight loss. Good work. Enjoy your treats!

Nice sunny afternoon and no rain coming so in two or three hours there will be steaks on the BBQ, small Italian new potatoes on the stove, ratatouille simmering and a bottle or two of hearty red being uncorked. No complaints.

Apart from the wine that sounds nice. Enjoy.

Thanks. Mostly just switched to what Mrs AFB eats. Rice, chicken and vegetables most days.
The last stone came from buying an Apple Watch. The exercise really helps. Sounds obvious, but my job and lifestyle were pretty poor before on the daily exercise front.

Poi banana bread, and nitro cold brew from the fancy coffee place down the street.

Some incredibly spicy Asian takeaway, that wasn't supposed to be that hot to begin with, and I even ordered it "mild". So yeah, I'm pretty much sitting here burning up and sweating all the while wondering why I haven't bought milk in ages.

It's a shame, if it wouldn't have been so spicy, I imagine it would have been delicious. Also it was my first real meal in close to 24 hours, so that's kind of a bummer as well.
Pro tip: raw sliced tomatoes are a better spice remedy than milk is. Milk coats the mouth and throat and holds the spice in place - not good. Tomatoes are acidic which helps to quickly break up and dissipate the spice.

Well there you go, providing a good solution to a problem I didn’t even remember mentioning here!

Thanks a bunch, I’ll be sure to try tomatoes the next time the situation calls for it!

I'd also recommend cucumber in that context.

In a coffee shop.
Was debating ordering in sushi, but then realised that I have plenty (as in, a sufficient quantity of) perfectly good organic, free range, eggs in the fridge.

So, fried eggs it was; organic, free range, delicious.
