Current iPhones + better battery + 256gb starting storage + USB C

To be honest just USB C.

for me:
- a non dimmed screen in hot (and often bright environment)
- Camera that features a optics that covers 35mm equivalent in full resolution .. like 12mm-26-35-50-70-150-+…
Right now there is a big gap between 26mm and 62mm on pro models.
-Stainless steel body but somehow a more flattering shape
-iphone x-11pro dimensons..
-water/dust proof under all circumstances ?
-id love a stainless steel back

All of this, but make it a folding phone, too.

Once (if) Apple’s in the folding phones game, I hope to god they nail it. There’s so much potential.

It feels so freaking cool to open your phone up and have a tablet sized screen in front of you. And you know what? I bet Apple’s known that for longer than we think?
I don't get this attraction to a folding phone. Possibly it has something to do with the fact that I use a computer for X things, my iPhone for X things, a game console for X things, my HDTV for X things and my iPad for X things.

I don't want one device being a jack of all trades, I want multiple devices that are good for their purpose. Possibly that's also because for 14 and a half years I was the only person in my department at work and could pretty much do what I wanted with all the tech stuff I had. Now I work from home and am surrounded by computers, phones, multiple monitors and my TV.

Maybe that's the difference, IDK.

Headphone jack, incredible DAC, 3D touch, 1TB storage, iPhone SE size, and touch ID on the Sleep button

Tim Cook will walk on stage wearing the infinity gauntlet with all 6 stones, say I am inevitable and snap his fingers, everyone's iPhone will turn to dust. Then he will unveil the new iPhone that everyone has to buy.

That's the iPhone Endgame.

To be honest just USB C.

I should’ve added that to my list. Good gracious I just want the same dang cord to charge my phone AND iPP. I hate wireless charging because I have to remove my phone case, and that’s just frustrating, but I ALWAYS have the wrong cord plugged in - never fails.

My endgame phone/device would be the one used in Total Recall (not the original, the remake).

For me it would be a 6.7” Pro Max iPhone (I currently have the 13 Pro Max) with these additional specs:

microLED
Always-On Display
Titanium chassis
Higher megapixel count on all cameras (48 or higher)
8K120 video
1TB minimum storage (I have 512GB)
USB-C, if not Thunderbolt 4 (probably never gonna happen)
50-100W MagSafe charging or higher
A periscope zoom lens that can take decent shots of the moon
4K screen resolution
Even better battery life, cause why not? (Maybe 5000 mAh minimum)
3nm chip or smaller
Most advanced 5G (or 6G or better)
Wi-Fi 6E/7/8
Under screen Touch-ID (if not, full screen)
Under screen Face ID with under screen True Depth camera with no image quality compromises
No physical buttons
No physical sim tray
Triple eSIM
2000 nits of HDR brightness
1000-1600 nits of normal brightness
More colour options (like purple (I had the purple iPhone 11 before I upgraded to the Sierra Blue iPhone 13 Pro Max)
Reverse MagSafe wireless charging
16GB of RAM minimum

I’m running out of things, but this would be my dream phone

Great question!

I would like an iPhone "Pro mini"... all the camera / lidar / screen tech from the Pro series, scaled down into a mini frame, or even something as small and as lightweight as an iPhone 5s. When I need a larger screen, I can switch to my iPad.

Another thing I would love is something (maybe a MagSafe accessory) that makes it super easy and comfortable to hold and use. More like a game controller. Just for around the house, doesn't need to be pocketable.

Self-upgradable device implanted in brain, optical and auditory nerves, and powered by body-generated electricity. Can use thought to turn on and off, type, make calls, take photos, access the web, etc. Might need a separate implant, probably on the hand or forearm, to use as selfie cam.

Everything on the iPhone 13 Pro but shrunken down to the size of the iPhone 13 Mini, with no notch, and battery life of an iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Size: 13 pro (not too big, not too small)
Chip: whatever the newest A-series chip is (A16? A17?)
Storage: 2TB (just in case)
Screen: OLED with ProMotion (slick)
Ports: USB-C, MagSafe 2 with fast charging (is magsafe a port?)
Battery Life: All week (not asking too much?)
Color: (Product)RED
Cameras: Wide, Ultra Wide, Telephoto (each 40MP, can take 8K in ProRes
Selfie Camera: 20MP w/ face id,
Power Button: touch id

oh and we‘ll keep the notch

:apple:

mine: iPhone 13 mini with thicker body/larger battery and high-frequency PWM

yours: iPhone 23 giant/beyond/further or... universe

Either an iPhone Mini with the Pros' cameras, ProMotion display, and battery life...

...or a Pro Max with pencil support to replace both my iPhone Mini and iPad Mini.

Me too, it's just annoying as hell to swap between a lighting cable to charge my phone and Airpods, then arse around with changing it to then charge my iPad and every other device in our house.
