I'm simple.

6'5 inch screen (that was the perfect size for me)
Aluminum sides for lighter weight.
Under screen Touch ID
Product Red pro version
No Notch

If I got a Pro iPhone with those things I would keep it forever.

Might have a bit of an issue trying to carry a 6.5 foot tall iPhone. I can’t imagine anyone fitting that in their pants pocket. ?

If it can reasonably last ~ 5 years customers will extend their finance terms. In fact, we may be heading towards more expensive iPhones financed over longer terms once we’ve reached the notch-less endgame with groundbreaking durability and practically perpetual battery life.

I doubt the perpetual battery life is happening anytime soon. Funnily enough, I remember my old plastic Nokia being pretty durable and had more than 1 week battery life.

Oppo Find N has an idea ... small expandable screen ... but FOLD is NOT the way forward.

I still see all foldable phones as communicators, like the Nokia communicator series from the 9000 (The Saint ft Val Kilmer) to the last model the E90. Every add or person that shows off a foldable online is basically copying what a 'fold' can do just like those communicators. Sure what you can do is modernized, but same basic movements with no physical keyboard, better internals and a screen that'll crack MUCH sooner than those fold tests can attest to.

Rollable is the way forward. Give me a 6.7" rolled out screen in the size of a iPhone 12/13 mini with incredible battery life, camera's, video recording and editing natively With iOS from Apple and I'll take a VERY hard look.

Until thin it's iPhone and nothing else.

I realize this is a small sample, however in my neck of the woods most people I see with a folder like the Z Flip 3 are female and the appear to like it for its small footprint when off.

An iPhone 13 Pro Max with an LCD display, 3D Touch and a version of iOS that makes use of the larger display and 3D touch.

No notch and screen and frame that are really really scratch resistant.

Nice big 7000mAh Baddery, 6.7" screen, no notch and more rounded edges. That'll do me.

Lord. I'm a simple man. I pray to thee almighty to deliver these specs for the 2023 iPhone.

  • FaceID under screen (if not Touch ID under screen)
  • Promotion
  • Long battery life (similar to 13 Pro Max)
  • Volume buttons like iPhone 4/5
