Is battery cicle a bad thing? I have the 80% limit activated and charge around 50% when I’m at home. I read experts saying don’t leave the battery drain under 50% to preserve it longer.

Do you guys use your phone, I’m launch day and 10
My 15 Pro is on 13 cycles after launch day. I didn’t think I overly used my phone but the cycle counts on here make me think I use it too much.

My iPhone 14 is on 96% health after a year and I used it/charged it the same as this 15 Pro.

14 cycles here. Currently testing Low Power Mode to see how long I can get out of it (from 100%) - typically charge to 80%.

So far I had my iPhone 15 from October to January 5 and I have 85 cycles so far. I can feel that my phone is starting to die faster that when it was new already.

59 cycles on 15 Pro Max. Normal daily usage. I notice o difference in longevity - never gets below about 45%.

Launch day 15 pro.

80 cycles.

Have been on the 80% charge thing since November ish sort of time

Bought my 15 in late September. Currently on 99% battery health after 63 cycles. I use a 35W USB-C wired charging every night.

My launch day had 3 cycles before returning. It was the 512 gb and the battery life was horrible. Friday i picked up the 1tb and battery life is way much better. Currently used 1 cycle
Is that most 15 Pro users experience that 1TB gives longer battery life than 512 GB ?

What counts as a cycle? I got mine around October 12. I have 73 cycles. keep my battery at 80% when I’m just going to work or daily activities. When I travel out of town or out of the country, I charge it to 100%

So far 100% health.

How is it that you guys are getting single digit cycles since launch day? I’ve had my 15p since launch day and am @77 cycles.

84 cycles - 100% health
launch day iPhone 15 Plus - battery produced in August. I mostly use the 80 % thing and begin charging before it hits 30 % unless I know I will be out and about all day or on a trip, then I charge it to 100 % on those days

First use on 1st October, 56 cycles and 100% health. I restrict charge limits to 80%

49 cycles, launch day 15PM at 100% still. Not a power user, normally 3-5 hours screen on time per day and end the day on 65-75% battery
