Been a while since I have seen that one, I do remember the movie not being good, can't remember his role specifically, but I will hazard a guess that if I were to rewatch it I would still dislike them movie but think Fiennes did a good part with the role he has been given. Could be wrong of course and it could be one of his few duds.
Cannot remember the details, or RF specifically, but poor acting all around was one of the biggest issues I had with it... ;)

Conclave (2024)- Excellent fictional story. Of interest the Cardinal in charge of the Conclave says “certainty is the enemy of tolerance and faith.” :)

Haven't seen it but sounds very interesting. Per an earlier post, I also thought "The Shoes of the Fisherman" was excellent along the same lines. Even as a nonbeliever, I find the inner workings of the Catholic Church curiously fascinating. So much history and tradition dating back to the Middle Ages.

My partner is spending a lot of time caring for her parents so I'm working my way through all the trashy movies on Netflix and Amazon. Playground was quite fun but I don't know why it doesn't show up on IMDB. The Warrior Way seemed to spend more on cinematics rather than story.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)- Highly intriguing story with superb elements, stunning action, a lost friendship refound, treason at the highest level, the subversion of _____, the resurgence of _____, powerful. The best Captain America.

Gladiator 2 (2024)
A sequel to the original story. It was ok, but lacked the impact of the original. And in many ways if felt like they shuffled some of the details to recycle the original story.

Just watched "The Voyeurs". Definitely an R rating. There was one plot entry that I thought was bad and was going to lead to predictable places, but the joke was on me as it had nothing to do with the rest of the movie. Major plot twist...I lost interest at the end.

Not wasting time on this one... While Scott still has the eye, his story telling had been in the bucket for year's. some things are best not touched, Gladiator being one. Alien less said the better...

Next up will be Ice Station Zebra, rather slow but I'm OK with that.

The best is The Bedford Incident (1965) one not to be missed, a film to be watched...

I thought I read somewhere that later in life Ice Station Zebra was Howard Hughes favorite movie, that he rewatched all the time while being a recluse, living in a Las Vegas hotel penthouse. Might just be an Urban Legend.

I finally saw Kraven the Hunter and my god it was awful. lol. I didn't think it could be as bad as reviews made it out to be but it was worse. Sony really needs to just hand their Marvel properties back to Marvel.

Conclave is very good though. One of my favorites in this awards season.
