Whether it's a new phone, tablet, laptop, Chromebook, smartwatch, accessory, etc.

I'm trying to device between a laptop (MacBook or a Windows 10 cheap laptop), the Pixel C + keyboard, iPad Pro + keyboard, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 or 9.7 + keyboard or Surface Pro 3/4 + keyboard.

I want one of these for college and using it on the couch. Can't decide.

What about you guys?

I just picked up a 5k iMac a couple of weeks ago, so given the high price I just paid out. I'm done.

As for gifts, I bought my kids a skiing package that will have them skiing for the month of January. That's a pricey endeavor in of itself, so no gadgets for them and the wife is content with her set up.

Not exciting in the slightest but I've asked for a Chromecast ha.
So that's one gadget gift.

I have just bought a One Plus X though, so I guess I can include that in Christmas / December purchases ha.

I really want a Pixel C, but my iPad works fine. No need to swap out other than size.

I just say on G+ this morning that there has been a price drop it that helps.

OK I'm an idiot they were saying Pixel C and I was thinking Nexus 9

I'm getting a bigger HD for my laptop and a new PS for the desktop then using those parts to upgrade my daughters computer. She'll go from an i3/GTX 750/HDD to an i5/R9 280/SSD so it should be a decent upgrade.

Do you run Linux on your kids computers?

I bought the HomeKit Phillips Hue bridge yesterday. I already had 12 of the light bulbs. My entire downstairs is now Siri controlled. I'm loving it! Word to the wise hue's app sucks. I was fighting with Siri until I downloaded idevices from the App Store. Completely free and Siri control now works like a dream.

I've been itching to try some sort of wearable even though I know deep down it's just a toy/gimmick atm, so I decided to compromise and ordered a Mi Band 1S Pulse. It's got a step counter and heart rate sensor with a few other neat features like an alarm that buzzes your wrist. Sleep tracking.. etc. Hoping it'll help motivate me to be more inclined to exercise hah! I'll let you guys know what I think of it. Should be getting here at some point tomorrow.

The Microsoft band is on sale at BB for $79.99, I might go for it.
Gen 1? It's a decent band, but VERY uncomfortable to wear especially during sleep. No matter how loose I wear it, the blocky, awkward design still chafes my skin and leaves a nasty rashy look.

I've resorted to only wearing it during bike rides. Definitely a nice health band for the sale price, and it has GPS!

Time, because it rules EVERYTHING!
Not buying anything for myself, but I am getting really excited for the blue 6th Gen 16GB iPod Touch I will be getting on Christmas day :D:D:D:D:D

At my age that's quite sad really but I don't care haha. I am genuinely looking forward to receiving it. I have a little case and I do have a tempered glass protector but not sure weather to use it? But the device will live in my pocket with keys so I probably should put it on.

If you have a Samsung phone you need to get the Smart View app. It will make it so easy for you to cast anything from your samsung phone to your new samsung smart tv.

I'm not much for gadgets this holiday. Not much has my interest.

Maybe a new blue tooth speaker. Possibly Sonos. That's about it.
