What should iPad owners expect with iOS 4?

I would love to be able to customize the screen lock button to to other things. For me I never used it for that purpose; but to be able to turn bluetooth on and off would be awesome, in addition to other things of course...

I say DON'T expect 4.0 for the iPad. Then it might just be a pleasant surprise someday, rather than an angry waiting game.

Or a safari-like multiple window type multitasking. If safari behavior is any evidence, expose' on the iPad might be too burdensome with the limited RAM. Unless, with all this extra time they're taking, they pull a miracle out outa their collective @$$... okay, maybe it wouldn't be so much of a "miracle" really.

I'd like to see some updates to the core apps like the calendar and safari.

In particular, I'd like to see an iBooks like swipe to flip page action in the calendar as well as the ability to single/double (whichever seems more intuitive) tap to add a calendar item.

Safari being more on par with the desktop version would be nice as well. Perhaps the ability to cache to the disk instead of re-downloading tabs.
