This grab from app store search... upgrading from beta 6... but then says, "unavaible."

I've never used a pre-release version of OS X before now.

I want to ask, do those in testing programs get a regular software update to the beta/GM or do we have to download the full installer again?

on the fence

I do not know if is hold upgrade guys
i really dislike the yosmite look and i am not fond of it at all, intact it intimidates me .
Will upgrading the OS delete all my files and stuff?

i wish i had my HD now then i could make a good backup first and just reinstall it if it SUCKED.

You feel intimidated by an OS? Really?

Upgrading WILL NOT delete any of your personal files.

if you don't need any specific yosemite feature, like, say, continuity, and really dislike the interface... why upgrading?
oh, and as i understand you never tried it, so you actually dislike it by screenshots, not experience. try USING it, then talk :)

I wonder if they will eventually overhaul the App Store. The layout and design does not match the Yosemite look. The textured background etc look out of place.

ANYBODY tried Diskmaker X to create yosemite beta usb key installer? I want to do a clean install, just wanted to ask if it works with yosemite.

and just for the people that enjoy benchmarks.

Just as a reference, I got 14700 back in 10.9.3
this machine has been running Yosemite before 10.9.4 was released so I have no data from .4 or .5
