I agree with Richard.8655. I never had a dropped connection. Also the app I had mentioned previously makes the experience of using them even better.

Price is up there. Over $155 on Amazon, unless you want used (renewed in amazon slang) versions.

Round the house I tend to use my airpods, love em, but not for my commute, don't know why i just can't commute with them, for my commute I use my bose soundsport wireless headphones, really comfortable! For long travel or lazy sundays I break out the Bose QC35 II's (I know not earbuds but hey you do what you gotta do!) lovely sound and great noise cancellation, lightweight and comfortable for hours on end!

I use my AirPods (2nd gen) gave first gen to the wife. I did find some beats x earbuds on clearance at walmart yesterday for $64. I do like how they fit around the neck, so they’re easily accessible for calls.

I have the first gen Airpods and I got the Jabra Elite. I don’t care for the style of the AirPods especially in public however sound quality is better than the Jabra.

I havethe AirPods 2 and LOVE them. I typically use them in the office since after a little while I don't even realize i'm wearing them. When i work out, I have a pair of PowerBeats and when I need to study or travel, I have the Beats Studios. No complaints about any of them!

I had a pair of first gen Airpods but lost them (first left, then everything else). I'm now using a pair of 30$ Redmi Airdots and I love them. They work almost the same (except for the flip open and pair thing), don't look like a cumshot on your ear and are actually comfortable to wear. Can highly recommend them.

Interesting! One thing i find super practical about AirPods is that i can also just take one out of the box and use it while keeping the other one charged, swap between them easily or switch to using both. How is that on the Airdots?
Also, can you easily switch between playback from different devices or do you need to repair each time?

Cheers!

So I sold my AirPods and got something called the Sabbat E12 on ebay for about 60. The case has wireless charging and the battery life is bonkers (easily beats the AirPods). These things have a pretty big emphasis on bass and man do they sound fantastic. They are an absolute joy to listen to They are probably the most comfortable one earbuds I’ve ever used too. I wear them for hours no problem.
The only downside is the call quality, it’s actually just fine, but when in windy or noisy environments, they pick up a bit too much external audio. Call quality is like a 5 or 6/10 whereas AirPods are king for calls. These things beat up the AirPods for just about everything else. They are pretty stylish too.

If we could get regular Airpods with silicon/foam tips then it would make a world of difference to them. Without decent tips, you don't get any kind of noise isolation which greatly impacts the quality of the sound. I could only really get on with the audio quality in a quiet environment - on a train for example, the performance was fairly poor. They also aren't much use for late night use in bed when the other half is sleeping due to noise leakage.

I had both the Bose Soundsport and the Bose Soundsport Free Wireless earbuds, but recently I decided to take the splurge and try the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless. The Sennheisers just blow away anything other wireless earbuds I’ve heard. I’m super impressed with these, but I do have to admit, they’re a bit expensive. Worth it to me though.

1st Gen Airpods
Beats X

I occasionally wear them so do me fine. They are more about convenience though for me, especially the Airpods. I would however, recommend you check out Anker as they produce some really good quality value ear buds.

I’m still using the 1st generation AirPods as of now and I still love them. Best invention apples come out with in a while that is actually affordable to the average person

Is anyone using jbl tune 120ws or jbl reflect wireless earbuds ??
Are they any good or should i wait for new airpods ??

Jabra Elite 65t’s have been my choice. Their sound is good, decent isolation, and reasonable price. I might check out the new Sennheiser for $$$$$. Hey, you only go around once in life!

I am using the Powerbeats Pro...overall they are nice but I think the AirPods I had in the past were better.

Can you elaborate a bit more on what the AirPods better?

I like my Airpods a lot too. As somebody who often listens to podcasts and audiobooks in bed I like that there’s no little rubber cap that can get lost if I fall asleep with the headphones on. The comfort when lying on the side with head on a pillow is also decent with AirPods- many other headphones feel uncomfortable in the ear in that situation.

I like the AirPods ease of use...you can take them anymore, put them on anywhere....overall just super convenient. The sound on the AirPods isn't as good as the PowerBeats but looking back I think I prefer the convenience over the sound. Hope this helps.

I had the Creative Outlier Airs, which at $80 are some of the best all around you can find anywhere. I got rid of them because the silicone tips bothered my ears. I replaced them with the Sony WF-1000XM3, and I love them. Worth every penny (if you can find them, they've been out of stock for ages)

Saw those on Amazon. Looked nice, but did not rate very well. Also comments about dropped connections which is a killer for me.
I got a pair of these today, I also have AirPods, the Jabra’s are going back. I tried all the gels and I find them horribly uncomfortable and the sound quality wasn’t great.
