The 12,9 inch iPP is the first apple device that has impressed me since the 13 MBA.
I agree that it lacks something when working with apps like pages and numbers. Like markup a sentence or paragraph, and move it to a different location. As a long time mac user, i thought the solution would be an external keyboard with a trackpad. Now i think these things could be solved in software, like just a toggle button for markup-mode, and when you have made your text selection, automatic popup of buttons for various actions.

Here’s something that would be a nice feature: When using the mail app, it would be great if while writing an email I could look at another email in split screen without having to save the first email in drafts and then going back to it. Occasionally when writing an email you realize you forgot something and have to look back at a previous email that is not copied in the email you are responding to. Just like they added split screen to safari, they should add it to Mail.

Agreed, and actually I think all document apps should have the ability to split screen two documents, like safari does, with tabs for more documents as well. I don’t think iOS is holding developers back from doing that right now if they want. And I don’t know how iOS would implement tabs so it might actually be better if developers build that functionality into their apps on their own rather than Apple building it into iOS. Maybe Apple could just provide an API to make it a smoother process.
