Cystocopy, I reccomend it, and don’t be shy, you get to have a nurse fondle you privates before the doctor sticks a tube in your peepee. I imagine I don’t get any sympathy from the women. ;) :D https://www.mayoclinic.org/tests-procedures/cystoscopy/about/pac-20393694

Ok seriously, I assume this procedure is slightly more painful for males due to male anatomy. They numb the point of entry with a topical anastegia. Putting the tube with a light on the end in, which ranges from slight discomfort to momentary moderate pain. Relax, if you can it makes it less painful. Once in, you are good as the Doctor looks around and gives you an anatomy lesson, while you watch on a monitor. The entire procedure takes about 4-5 minutes, maybe a little less.

My results:
  • Previous CT scan- I have a cyst in my right kidney, non cancerous, ignorable.
  • Previous CT scan- Left Kidney a 3mm Stone, ignorable for now. Mix and drink the equivalent of one Lemmon of Lemmon juice a day in water to minimize Stone development.
  • Urine sample- previously sent out to detect loose cancer cells- none found.
  • Bladder is clean. :):)
  • PSA test- 1.3, next year if 2.0, that requires attention. (Associated with prostate cancer).
  • The small amount of blood in my urine, unknown, possibly the cyst, many people have blood in urine for a variety of reasons, but eliminating the threat of cancer was the primary concern.
I’m home free until the next development. :) o_O

I can imagine, I have it too associated with aviation. As far as I know there is no cure. I don’t think sound canceling earplugs would help as it not really a sound.

Some habits are directly associated with certain conditions, like smoking, drinking, poor diet, a particular work field that exposes your body to something. There is documentation that associates causes and environments with conditions. There is also good genes vs bad genes. :)

Back pain maybe associated with degenerative disk disease.
Sounds like good news. Although reading the procedure made me wince!

I've done my neck in this morning. Probably a combination of carrying my camera bag round yesterday and dusting this morning.
Of course I'm telling Mrs AFB it's just the dusting!

I’ve done something like that, weighted strap on upper shoulder equal pain in neck.

Not to sound like a broken record, but emember it’s annual screening that one day may save your life. :)

That is good news. It's more likely that the stone is the cause of blood in your urine (microscopic hematuria, which you can't see, as opposed to gross hematuria, which you can) than the cyst, although both are possible. If you ever develop left-sided pain, let the practitioner know that you have a history of a renal stone, as they may pass into the ureter and obstruct it. Many patients never have symptoms, though.

Agreed, none whatsoever, @Huntn.

How about I'll trade you a cervical smear test.

Seriously, though, glad to hear the tests went well.

I suspect that the camera bags (and you have large heavy cameras if memory serves) are the culprit here, not a small duster.

Re my own trip to the doctor last week, she was horrified to learn that I was on a daily dose (twice daily) of powerful anti-inflammatories/painkillers for the best part of two months. I was instructed to cease and desist, forthwith, and reduce to one per day, preferably one per two days, or, best of all, simply take on a need basis (need meaning when pain kicks in); that is what I have been doing since the Thursday of last week, and have only taken two of the pills since.

Other conditions (possibly associated with stress) have also cleared up for now.

Sprained a toe. Wasn’t that bad, so didn’t thought go spinning would hurt.
It usually doesn’t with minor stuff.
Well, either it gets better or worse.
Depending on what’s the cause ’mentally’.....
Guess I need to rest, because it didn’t get better.
My ailment is being TOO passionate at times.
Right now, the toe got hurt of it. I’m icing the toe, probably the cause too ;)
Of course it is Super Hot outside too, not complaining abt it.
Will just go reload ice water, and meditate in the sun

What is "torned" a toe? Turned it, or tore it?

Anyway, good luck.

Toes can hurt abominably; I've lost count of the times I have managed to miss a toenail and slice a piece of toe instead, while trimming toenails (no, you don't bleed to death despite the inordinate length of time the thing seems to take to clot).

And then there was the time I walked into my (full) suitcase en route from the shower; my little toe was black (and agonisingly sore) for days.

As I was in a Foreign Country in a senior position to monitor/observe an election, I thought it prudent not to bother mentioning anything about why I was limping a little; the thought of being repatriated for a broken toe did not bear thinking about.

Microscopic hematuria, yes that. Thanks for your insight. Are you in the medical profession?

When the doctor told me to drink a Lemmon’s worth of Lemmon juice a day, I assume this is acid, along with assuming a kidney stone is alkaline? For everyone, I’ll also assume that a bottle of lemon juice from concentrate will be just as effective as buying actual lemons?

How did that happen? I’ve had a sore tie, and it is painful, at least more painful than I imaged it would be.

Sore leg. Had it coming, I suppose, with what I'd done.
Sore, why? :)

Buy actual lemons and squeeze them; it's great fun, horribly healthy, and incredibly refreshing.

Whenever I am home, (as I am at the moment), I have several freshly squeezed citrus fruits first thing in the morning; usually, this comprises of two to three (one morning, it was four) freshly squeezed oranges, one pink grapefruit, and sometimes, a squeezed lemon as well. Delicious, tasty, and healthy. It also means that I know I have already consumed the amount of fruit I know I am supposed to take daily each morning.

I spent 3 semesters at University of Miami (Miami, Florida) before I got sick of South Florida (missed the seasons) but a delight was visiting the local orange grove and getting a gallon of freshly squeezed orange juice. It was amazing as compared to store bought juice. :) I’ll consider this with lemons, but am still interested in effectiveness of lemon juice from concentrate, I assume it would be just as effective.

Just not as tasty; I sometimes cheat when making French - or salad dressings - and put in some lemon concentrate (rather than freshly squeezed lemons) along with sherry vinegar or wine vinegar, or when preparing a hot lemon juice drink when I am suffering from a cold. But fresh lemon tastes better (and feels somehow healthier and more refreshing).

I’m going to have to make a comparison now. :D Last night I poured some lemon juice (from concentrate) into a glass and filled it up with bubbly lemon seltzer water. Pretty darn good.

Uhm, unintentionally I kicked a wall or even more precise some water-pipes that is placed close to it.
And now I can't recall exactly the context, that's probably why it still hurts so. Lack of focus.
Toe looks like a prince-sausage, but you probably don't have them over there.
Anyway like a short sausage o_O

Fresh is definitely best. But I've also started to use essential oils of different sorts. The are very potent.
A few drops in the water is refreshing, and very easily made.
Bottles lasts long too. Fresh fruit don't. So when I haven't it at home, it's good to have healthy substitutes.
Toe stuff is definitely the worst. I Brooke my big toe once. It sound up shattering. Took months to heal, and I was miserable on crutches the whole time.

The reason I use a crutch now is toes. You forget how important they are for little things like balance. It's a shame they don't make braces for toes.
Sensitive small things. Considering that we can manipulate our health pretty powerfully with reflexology on our feet, it's not so strange, really.

What essential oils do you use?

Abroad, I always - but always - have tea tree, eucalyptus and citronella to hand.

Re reflexology, sometimes, if I feel the need for it, I find a good rub of the soles of one's feet with something soothing just before toppling into bed is a wonderful aid to a good night's rest.

A bunch of them; tea tree, peppermint, oregano, lemon, lime, ginger, cinnamon, myrrh, frankincense.
Do pretty ok with those now, but there are more I'll buy later.
Still in the beginning of my use of essential oils :)

Think I'll give my feet a good footbath with essential oil rub afterwards.
Toe will benefit.

Is that like a Jack Lemmon lemon? ;-)

Mine's a boohoo in my left arm. Naughty doctor gave me a tetanus booster.

Also, I learned that you should NOT use a finger to get the last of the hot refried bean dip out of an easy open can.
