Launch day iPhone X - Wireless charged overnight using the Mophie Wireless charger is at 99%. Some days I run it down to only 70% or so, but other days (most days) it gets down to 10-30%.

My X was saying 100% until last month, then suddenly dropped to 97%. Today I let it run down until it turned off, and it dropped to 95%. Coconut battery is reporting 98% battery health. What gives?
What is iphone X battery health percentage right now ?

What is your iPhone X battery health percentage right now?

my capacity dropped from 97% to 94% after updating to ios 11.4 , iphone 8 since early december

iPhone X early December, 99%.
Overnight charge via cable. Daily usage around 6 hours, ca. 16 hours standby. On a typical day I run it down to about 30-40%.

How do you usually charge your iPhone?
Do you use iPad adapter or iPhone or using wireless charging for that?
Never an iPad charger, maybe once or twice. Typically iPhone standard 5watt. I also have a Nokia wireless pad I use sometimes.

I did use my phone as a GPS several hours a day for past 6+ months too so ‍♂️.

After 11.4 update my battery health drop to 91% from 92%.
[doublepost=1527648808][/doublepost]I always use a tplink battery charge and iPad charge, both charges iPhone very fast.

Launch day iPhone X. Charged pretty much every night since purchase. Still 100% battery health.

My X was showing 95%, but coconut battery was reporting 98.5%. After updating to iOS 11.4 last night, it's showing 98% now. I guess the software update forced it to re check the battery capacity.

I wonder how often it updates or rechecks the battery. If it's during restart of device, only after software update, etc.

I’d assume it’s in real time.

Definitely not real time. My phone was showing 95% for like 2 weeks. Coconut battery was showing 98-98.7% throughout. What I'm assuming is that at some point the phone read the battery capacity as 95%, and then stuck to it. It didn't care if the capacity went higher than that. Since I did a clean restore, it recorded the current capacity of the battery, which is 98%. I guess if it ever sees a lower capacity at some point, it won't go back up when the capacity increases.

My launch day X is still at 100% capacity - I tend to top it off on a wireless charger often, sometimes it's topped off in the car while plugged in listening to music via USB, and only occasionally will I use it down to 20-30% charge and then pop it onto the wireless charger at bedtime.
