WhatsApp Beta updated for 6 & 6 Plus Screen Sizes

Ok I think it's about time for Facebook to step in and fix this hot mess that's whatsapp

When the iPhone 5 came out it took them until November 16th to release an optimized version so I wouldn't be surprised if it won't be released this week. I wonder how many people work at WhatsApp, can't be many.

The update bug has been there for the last two versions.

PLEASE READ THE THREAD before posting as most of the comments are exactly the same on other pages.

The facts: whatsapp official points towards within the next 7 days.
The beta is being updated once or twice daily (if you look at the indemnified long enough)

Complaining isn't going to get anyone anywhere. When its here, it's here. Simple.
Don't advertise where to get a Dev account, you're asking for a ban (and annoying us real developers).

2.11.14.463 - no longer has update bug. - no longer has notification issues.

So can you answer our biggest question. Next 7 days starts from today??? Has Whatsapp submitted it to Apple for approval already? Is it on auto or manual release mode??
 
I really can't understand this. One moment its Friday, than by this week, than in 7 days? SHEESH?

Before it was taken down I imagine due to the amount of interest, was 3 days ago. Personally I'd say 7 days starting from 3 days ago, it seems to fit within their and apples time lime. Again, this isn't a definite by any means - but it's the most official hear say I've seen, and I believe it due to the nature of how the betas have been rolled out.
The first version was pulled by Apple (I'll add source later/on mobile) and a second or perhaps even third was submitted earlier this week (see above).

I understand it's frustrating, hell back when it was a private beta many moons ago there were horrendous issues, none of which I've seen in any of the releases so far.
I just want people to stop speculating and getting others' hopes up. It's a bloody app and unless someone's a psychic we will only know when it's out...when its out.
As said before, it proves the posters in this thread who "had contacts" etc are full of it...which is why I've been posting like I have.

Where did you get the .463 version?
Just downloaded the 2.11.14.1 off the site and in the about section (that shows .463 on your screenshot), mine says:
2.11.14.31

And I still get the update popup :)

Edit: ah, the .463 version is actually an older versio (I had it saved as .14). And that one also has the popups.
 
Every update has a update pop up only the 2.11.13 has no pop up all the updates have the update popup because its a bug in the new version so just wait for a another beta update and hope it fix it !

Don't think so. And no pop ups for me on .463. It's the most stable beta for me so far. I've reinstalled, rebooted (So it's not being cached) and no pop up.

In all honesty, we are just anxious for the new release.
You and the Whatsapp team may be annoying, but take it in another point of view:

This is probably one of the most used apps, and it has been for the most part, a quality app (beats the old PING! and stuff)

Of course we, users, have expectations. But like all services line people, expectations should be met (even better to exceed). It's like a curse for all developers out there, and so far, a lot other devs met the expectations with their apps.

So what I'm trying to say is, be honored!


I would like to also make suggestions to the app... how can this be done?
(Biggest one, Option to send FULL RES pics!!!!!)
