I'll take my decorations down after Epiphany.
Some of my fellow internet users on this thread typically take theirs down around the week after New Year’s Day. I plan to keep mine up until mid-January, just like last year, since my Christmas break lasts until mid-February, concluding after the Lantern Festival.I'll take my decorations down after Epiphany.
lol. I thought that. Seems like more people don’t decorate than do.No need to take anything down when you don't put it up. Seems like the poll needs one more option.

Alright thanks for the feedback y’all guys and moderation team! I will update it now to reflect those who don’t celebrate Xmas 🎄 and/or don’t decorate it. I completely forgot about that part.No need to take anything down when you don't put it up. Seems like the poll needs one more option.
You have a real Christmas tree, right? They don’t last as long as they should, so start removing the ornaments if they start to show signs of wilting 🥀 or if it cannot take in the water. This will depend on when you bought it.Exterior lights usually come down by new years along with most interior decorations. The Christmas tree though hangs out decorated till about 10th when our compost bin gets picked up.
Easter products are already on shelves in some places over here...Today I was in the grocery store and even though this is still December, already there was a store display of Valentine's Day merchandise......
That’s because you have such a large house! 😜I’m starting the process today, can’t wait to have the house back to normal. We have 5 large Christmas trees across the house so it’s quite a task along with ornaments that need to be packaged up too. I’ll leave exterior lights to another time in January.
Ha! I wish, no I actually don’t wish to be honest lol. I just have a family that seem to come home with Christmas ornaments and decorations every time they go out. I’ve spent the day today and completely de-christmastised my house from top to bottom. Now it looks bigger 😜That’s because you have such a large house! 😜

Doing it on NYE is also another way to get the house looking fresh without the holiday stuff. Especially since we have to move furniture around to make room for it at the start.Ha! It’s just another day to me as I haven’t done anything for NYE in 10 years now. I only have 2 more days now before returning to work so it had to be done. Looks so much better now it’s all back in the loft.Doing it on NYE is also another way to get the house looking fresh without the holiday stuff. Got it. I don’t go on my business trip until late January, which is for a week long. Then I’m off again all the two weeks of lunar new year. 🧧It’s just another day to me as I haven’t done anything for NYE in 10 years now. Yep it’s new years. A lot of y’all will get it taken down soon.SOON… 🙂
Ohhhh, I was out of town for Christmas too but I have a long break so I am not taking it down until later this month. Happy new year 🎈🎆🎊.We undecorated on the 30th. We went out of town from the 26-29 and had a live tree, and I didn't want to turn the lights back on since it hadn't been watered in four days by that point, so it came down. The latest I ever take stuff down is January 1, but I prefer to do it a couple of days earlier. I am so happy my house is back to normal.
I'm not a super Christmassy person, and we put everything up right before Thanksgiving, so a month was more than enough for me!Ohhhh, I was out of town for Christmas too but I have a long break so I am not taking it down until later this month. Happy new year 🎈🎆🎊.
No critique of this practise from me, but for myself, it’s so much work, might as well enjoy it for another week. Up North, when we lived there, I like lights on in the frigid weather for the month of Jan because it cheered the place up. 😁They came down on the 26th
