I have 3 Apple devices (ipad, iPhone X and MBA) that I have bought new in the last year and since none of them have USB-C I really don't care and not in a hurry. As a matter of fact I bought the MBA earlier this year before the new models specifically because I wanted all the ports (USB-A, Micro SD, and "HDMI" that it had and knew next generation wouldn't. Expect I'll be buying a bunch of hubs along with new cables when my next devices come along

I can't wait for USB-C to finally come to iPhone. It's a far superior connection in my opinion.

Why!? It's far superior to insert something, as opposed to encasing it.

With lightning you insert the tip. With USB C you encase the tip that is already housed in the phone. Seems there is more room for breakage with USB C.

No thanks Apple, please keep lightning!!!

USB-C seems more robust. The exposed pins on lightning cables seem like first thing to go. Always finding a small amount of corrosion or broken traces.

Lesbians seem to make it work

It think maybe the top tier phones in 2019 with go “C”. The others will remain lightning u til they are no longer sold.

Yeah likely so they can keep selling both cables

Hopefully USB C is here in 2019. Rather just carry USB cables

Think air pods could be USB C too

Couple of reasons. One, I like the fact that we're moving towards a single cable solution. Meaning one USB cable can control my iPhone and also my buddies Android. Also I like the form factor.
