Absolutely right. Both are mobile platforms with completely different business models. Apple doesn't need android volume to be successful.
I'm surprised that's even a question honestly! iOS and Android are going down two different paths. Apple is about high profit margins while Android is about ubiquity. Fortunately for Apple, they have high profit margins and ubiquity.
