I definitely think there will be a GM, it doesn't make any sense not to have one. That's not how a development cycle works. On another note. I'm on DP4 with a rMBP and it does have a few small glitches and issues so I think the GM is still in the works. I imagine they are fixing these rMBP issues just because they are touting the rMBP as "The Greatest Macbook Pro We Have Ever Made!" They need it to perform perfectly.

On a side note, this thing has wings and it knows how to use them. Would be nice to get a few of the UI glitches fixed so it's a bit more smooth but even with glitches it's lightning fast.

So my guess Monday or Friday but definitely a GM is coming. A development lifecycle of this magnitude always has a GM.

Just my .02 of course.

The GM usually comes about 20 days before the release date. If Apple wants to release ML by the end of the month, it should be out by mid next week.

That's the only notification you have ? No calendar ? no appointments ? no Facebook and mostly. No twitter integration ?

You sure you're not just playing with a Ps app ?

Nope im not kidding or playing with Photoshop. A notification popped up with OSX update button (in dutch). I clicked on it, Macappstore opened and there are no updates in the store

Maybe just a bug or something :(

It's likely a sign that they've already uploading the latest update to the MAS servers and will be releasing it early this week.

I think I remember seeing the same signs 24-48 hours in advance before they released the updates.

Hmm don't know. I don't think you will be able to update DP4 to GM through the Appstore. But you'll never know, we'll see it with a couple of days i guess

Hopefully the people at Apple have learned their lesson from Lion, and actually spend more time working out the bugs. The more time they spend finetuning Mountain Lion the better quite frankly..

GM is certainly coming. Developers must have the release version before anyone else to test their apps. And the retina MacBookPro is not running bugfree on the latest build. I guess they want their best MacBook to perfectly run ML.

My guess is today with iOS beta3, around the same time when beta2 came out (4hours from now).

Then you have no clue how software development works. Apple will seed a final, locked in version to developers ahead of a consumer release in order to have apps tested on the shipping version of the OS to ensure everything is working correctly.
