Youtube still not play 1080p? I deleted cause that. Using Tubex app now.
It plays 1080p on my iPhone 6s Plus. On my old iPhone 6, it would only play up to 720p, but that's probably because the screen resolution of the phone is less than 1080p. The Plus has a 1080p screen, so it makes sense for offer 1080p.

Excellent question.

If it's in your budget yes!
There's more functionality that just ad removal. Also if time is important to you, the new program is very fast. In my case we do you tube training videos which I author, so it's a massive time saver.

I also enjoy it immensely for personal use. Google is very good at being Pro-Customer, creating real fun and value.
Google pro-consumer ?
Is it a joke, right ? The only thing Google want are your data.

But in the process do they not provide many useful services that are often quite good?
yes, they do.
But they aren't a company I would trust for my personal data.
YouTube videos (with an ad blocker) ? yes
commercial emails ? sure

personal data and work ? absolutely not

I wouldn't really trust a government organization with my personal data given that those get hacked often and just plain lose data plenty of times, but they already have it anyway, most of which is even more sensitive than what Google might get from my use of its services.

yes, but with government organizations you basically can't choose, with Google you can
