Keep getting this message when I try to install. I have a MacPro 2012. Refurbished by CreatePro (new processors).
Likely because it is an old download with expired certificate. Read here what to do:

Delete your existing installer and then download a new one. There's a security certificate in the old one which has expired.

Thanx for the quick reactions.
But,.. the link Significant1 provides brings me to the same Apple Store link. The download works, but after 5 min. I have a file of 418kb... The download is finished and the appstore app. shows the open link. But it seems the file doesnt download properly.
I downloaded the combo update, but get an alert message that I need 10.13 first.
Also tried safe mode. No success.

Anybody any suggestions?

Have you deleted the old install app in application and rebooted between running the old and new install app?

I just downloaded it and it runs fine on my 27" imac 2009. Maybe check the time/date setting on your machine.

You can't use combo update for this.

If you have a metal capable graphic card installed, your machine can also run Mojave.

If you still get the same "... High Sierra application is damaged ... ", be sure to try the change-the-date tip. It may work for you, and should stop the frustration that you are experiencing, and get High Sierra installed.

Hi Guys, I resolved it. I downloaded the installer on my laptop with 10.14. Copied this to my MacPro and that worked.
Only the next problem arised. My GPU (NVIDIA Geforce GPX Titan X) is not compatible with the build number (17G12034) I have. And will not be compatible with Mojave at all I was told. But that’s for another topic.

Hello, trying this now and I have some issues. All the links to 10.13.0 installers on app store are not available anymore, so I only have the update to 10.13.6 too.

If you're trying to end up with 10.13.6, you can use the installer available on this page: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211683
You do not have to start with 10.13.0 to get to 10.13.6.

It was the first thing I tried after reading this post and before asking. If I click on 10.13 high sierra I'm sent to Itunes store (and not app store weirdly), and it says that the item is no longer available.
Tried also to force open on App store, still no results

If you are using Firefox as your default browser, switch to Safari as the default (System Preferences>General) and try again.

There's no need at all to set Safari as the default. All you have to is go to this URL in Safari, which then loads the HS download in the App store.

Resolved? I've studied this thread and followed links for the last hour and can't find or get past version 10.13.0. I have Sierra 10.12.5k on a late 2011 macbook pro. As was said many times before, I can't find the link to version 10.13.0. Most of the links above lead to a page for 10.13.6 but the link to the apple download site goes to Big Sur 10.15.

Maybe I"m missing something. Tell me again, how do I get 10.13.0 in order to move up to 10.13.6? Thanks

If you go to this page:
And select High Sierra:
https://apps.apple.com/app/macos-high-sierra/id1246284741?mt=12
It should open with latest version (10.13.6) in app store. It works for me, though it didn't try downloading.

I don't understand Significant1, how did it work for you if you didn't download it?

Thanks for trying Significant1 but when I follow your instructions, go to "how to get old versions" page, select High Sierra which leads to the 10.3.6 update. If I follow the link to the Apple Web Site it takes me to the Big Sur. Has anyone figured this out yet??

This link, if you open it in Safari, will take you to the full 10.13.6 installer in the Mac App Store. You do not need to have 10.13 installed first: https://apps.apple.com/app/macos-high-sierra/id1246284741?mt=12
You need to do this on a computer that's compatible with High Sierra or you will get an error that the update is not available.
The "How to get old versions of macOS" page does not download updaters. Take a look in your applications folder for the full High Sierra installer. I suspect you're just reopening an updater that you'd already downloaded.

Use safari

I followed your directions in Safari, still not working. Maybe I'm following the wrong link from the page in the image below. If I choose Apple Web Site, I still get the Big Sur page. Am I following the wrong path from this page?

Click open on that page. Alternatively, go to your applications folder and find the High Sierra installer there and open it.

Thankyou chrfr, I thought that was only a pull down menu to irrelevant choices. I didn't know it was a botton. Unfortunately, this was the message I got when I clicked on "open" in Chrome and Safari:

RESOLVED at last. Thanks Significant1 & chrfr. The final hurdle was getting rid of the previous installer on my hard drive. High Sierra 10.13.0 is downloading as I type this. If I don't post another reply, it means it worked. I was right, I'm a slow learner.
