Where will you buy your iPhone from?

So I wanted to go to an Apple Store to buy mine, but after reading somewhere (I forget where) someone said that each store was only going to be getting like 10. Now I'm willing to drive there 2 hours early and wait, but I've been thinking... How will buying it online compare. Usually it seems like when you buy a new product online, it takes forever to ship out. When I bought my first gen MBP they didn't ship until early march, and I ordered it the day they were announced. I'm sure the iPhone is going to be in just as much of high demand, so I feel like I'd rather go to the store and just be able to take it home... I dunno though. I like this thread btw...lol. I think it's a good, worthwhile topic to discuss about iPhone.

I may be remembering wrongly, but I think the MBP was a special situation in that it was announced early but none were available anywhere (stores or online) until March. It was not intended to be available when it was announced. I seem to recall that those that ordered early had theirs about the same time they were available (in low quantities) in stores.

I would like to know... If i buy an Iphone in an Apple Store, would i have to use it with Cingular, or I would be able to use it with any cellphones provider? I ask this, because somedays ago i watched the presentation that Steve Jobs did, in which he introduced first time the Iphone, and i never saw like an icon in the cellphone that points it will just work with Cingular (The webpage www.apple.com do have the cingular icon in the upper left of the Iphone)

Hey you guys i am so jealous of all of you!!!!!!!!
I'm in Canada and i have no idea when the iPhone will be available. I'm still gonna be waiting for months. I'm definitely gonna buy it the day it comes out.
Omg i just can't believe you will all have it friday!!!! that is so unfair!!!

I think I am going to go to my local ATT store right after work.
If the line is ridiculous then I will just order online.
