At least you’re honest. But the company being able to withstand it is besides the point.

as mentioned that device could go to someone intending to get that device.

can’t you justwait a few weeks? I would say you’re impatient not trying to prove a point. And if you are the point is lost in translation. How you really stick it to Apple is don’t buy anything from them if you really feel taken advantage of

there’s worse sins out there though
I don’t think you guys understood my humor. Of course I’m being silly by saying I’m seeking revenge for the missing charger etc. and that they’re a 2 trillion company so no guilt. I’ve had my 11 pro max 256gb for a year and bought an Apple leather case for it. That’s was all 1400$. I bought an iPad Pro which I’ve had for a couple years and just traded back to Apple to get the 2020 pro. I have a XR I bought new a few months ago for a back up. So I’m not this type of person to buy stuff and not keep it. When it comes to iPhones I sometimes do exchange for color or exchange for other reasons. I’m getting the gold iPhone pro this time. So when it gets here and I decide that I still want a bigger screen it’s my option to exchange for the max. I’ll have two weeks to decide. And you need that time to decide if that’s what you really want because it is a little bit of coin.

Fair. I misinterpreted your intention. As you were!

even if rhetorically

Will upgrade from my XR to a 12 Pro blue. Although it’s a shame it’s not the same blue as the new Apple Watch I just acquired. The Max is just too big for me. If a phone won’t fit comfortably in my front pocket or on the wireless charger in my car, it’s just not suitable. I’d probably go with a Mini if they did a Pro version of it actually.

Pro.

be interesting to see some real life camera comparisons when both models are released. I suspect that the difference in picture quality, if any, would be barely noticeable to the untrained eye.

I wonder if the poll results would be different if they both released at the same time
Surely not that many people would get one over the other for a sake of a few weeks. If the dates were flipped I would still get the Pro. No interest in the size of the max and would assume the inverse would be true for those that want the big screen..

I’m getting the Pro. I bough a Max model some time ago when it first came out and was very excited. But after using it for a year i realized I prefer my iPad for bigger things, and carrying that Max in my pocket was too much. So I went with the X and now the 12 Pro, and I have a big iPad Pro for when I’m in the mood for a bigger screen.

Had the cameras been identical the 12 Pro might have been the easy choice for me. But if I decide to get a Pro model I think I’d get the Max for the best camera and battery life even though it would mean carrying around a phone that weighs 1/2 pound.

I'm so tempted to cancel my iPhone 12 Pro 512Gb and wait till Nov 6th and preorder the Max 256gb in Blue.....couple of reasons being the big screen, camera at least with the max version feels like a upgrade due to me keeping my old iPhone 11 Pro.....

I decided to go for the Max this year. For some strange reason, since the pandemic started, I’ve been using my phone much more for Netflix and YouTube, so I’m looking forward to that huge screen and battery life improvements.

As for the huge size of the Max, I’m really interested in those MagSafe compatible PopSockets I’ve heard about. Hopefully, that will help me with getting used to the huge size jump I’ll be making (currently using an 8).

I'm on a XS Max right now and was thinking about switching to the regular pro. I kinda like that it's more comfortable to use compared to the bigger sizes. Now that I have an iPad Pro I can just switch to that if I feel like using a bigger screen. Will probably be getting a blue iPhone 12 pro 256gb.

Switching from 11 Pro Max to 12 Pro. It’s just too damn big and I miss being able to use a phone one-handed easily. I also don’t need the camera upgrade as the 11 Pro camera system is perfectly fine already. I also have much better cameras and faster lenses available if I know I’m about to take photos, especially at night.

Since I’m on the upgrade program, I figure I can always just switch back to the larger one next year if I miss the larger screen enough. I’ll also most likely stay on the Pro size if they have feature parity next year.

I know there is a little impatience at play here for me. I’m fine with max size but am curious how the 6.1 feels. if they prove the camera diff is negligible I’d consider keeping the pro. The ultra wide cam is the same. The telephoto is a little faster on the pro but a little more reach on the max so that’s a tie. It’s the wide camera I’m curious about with the bigger sensor etc.

One thing I wish they did with the bigger sensor is they could've also upped the megapixel count for the wide lens. It's been 12 MP forever because of the small sensor size but I wouldn't be surprised if it goes up a bit next year once the larger sensor becomes standard.

Bigger sensor with fewer MP translates to more significant picture quality increases though.
The larger the pixels on the sensor, the more accurately and sensitively they collect light. A small sensor with 100mp will usually take grainier, lower contrast, softer pictures than a large sensor with 50mp...

I’m not looking for 100 or 50 like those Samsungs or Huaweis but I’d be happy if the wide got upgraded to a 24. The photos coming out of my 11 PM are fine but they really suffer when you start cropping on the high resolution screens on these devices.

Is anyone else’s color decision dependent on their size decision? For some reason I feel like the blue would be best for the smaller Pro but with the Max it’s.... too much color and I might go silver in that instance? Can’t really explain the logic in my thought process.

I will wait for camera pics taken from Pro and Max to compare how much better the Max’s camera is before deciding which I’ll buy.

Exactly what I'm doing, usually I would have pre-ordered already but not until I see the differences between the two Wide sensors on the 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max.

I just got a case for the iPhone 12 Pro Max and it is a massive phone! Here is a photo of the case next to my 11 PM.

Doubt the 12 pro will be a one handed phone.
