On a similar note to CoriG, I received my tempered glass screen protectors today for the 6.1 12 Pro and I’m liking it so far.

I’m coming from the 11PM, and of course still hesitant in my decision to downsize this year. But the screen protector is a good size, and the phone will be slightly bigger than that due to the bezels / edges of the device.

Friday can’t come soon enough!! At least i’ll have my case coming on Wednesday.

I posted earlier but am still struggling!

I currently have a 11 Pro Max. I love it but thinking of downgrading in size for better form factor, one hand usage, etc. I do love a big screen though. So not sure. I’m on AUP and don’t mind upgrading. That blue and style are calling my name! I'm obviously hoping for 120hz next year so I'll most LIKELY upgrade next year but you never know. So I want to make a good decision regardless. I feel at this point I’ve gotten use to the bigger size but I dunno. The 6.1 is intriguing to me. I keep ping-ponging back and forth on which one I want. I’m literally 50/50.

Any advice?

I was in the same situation as you, however I’d rather have one hand than anything else...

Get my arm so tired of trying to use 11 Pro Max in one hand

As of right now, I’m still leaning to the 12PM. Did consider the 12P since beginning of year.

Size has always been a factor with me since I do have hands on the smaller size. However, battery life and camera specs (I’m an avid photographer) seem to play a bigger role for me.

Looking back to my upgrades, I went from the 6 to the iPhone 7 Plus and absolutely loved it. I also wear slimmer jeans and for the most part, i never paid any mind to it.

I went to the iPhone X after that and even though the size assisted with one hand use, I found myself looking forward to the XS Max. Upgraded to that before jumping to the 11 Pro Max the following year.

I love my 11 Pro Max, and hearing the 12PM was going to be slightly bigger had me stressing.

But I believe I can circumnavigate the extra mm’s by going almost caseless (Totallee case) and using a finger loop device (which is an absolute game changer for me now, easier one hand use). I’ve also had AppleCare+ on my last 4 devices and have NEVER USED IT, so why not take the risk this time 😜

My Totallee case actually came in and sitting it next to my 11PM inside my Rebel case, it’s nearly identical to the T. This might be the game plan until Apple shrinks the size again.

Couple more Kung Fu Grip cases to compare the size of the 12P vs 12PM. Still leaning towards the 12PM since I’m coming from a X and I’d like a little more screen real estate.

Are the extra camera features on Max useful to you? I’m going Max for the first time. I’ve always been curious about having a larger screen. I’ll likely be home most of the time for the next year so thought this was a good time to try it. The camera features and battery life are a good bonus this year. Although like most everyone else I’d rather the Pro iPhones have the same cameras.

Undecided; I'm waiting till Jan to make a full decision. On the one hand, I like the pocketability and one-handed use of my 11, and the 12 pro is even smaller. On the other hand, the scaling of the 12 pros display is more akin to the 5.8 inch models and I don't really want to scale further down; plus the improved main camera on the pro max.

What finger loop do you recommend?

Update: Loving my 12 Pro, and I’ve had the chance to directly compare to my old 11 Pro Max before it is traded in.

The short of it: both are great, and probably can’t go wrong either way. Pro leans toward pockability/portability, Pro Max leans toward better usability.
