Safari at the moment, which i'm generally really happy with, but consider a secondary one, mainly for Youtube, or for the odd site that's not working correctly on Safari.

I'm torn between Edge and Firefox.

I don't necessarily need super top secret stealthy behavior, but it also shouldn't be one of the biggest sponges for user specific data collections either

i'm using Edge on my old Windows machine, which is good and fast, but am generally not happy with MS's current direction of aggressive data collecting, but would be perfectly fine if you could shut that off completely, even if this meant to defaults write 'this or that'

i only have little experience with Firefox, but many people seem to say that it's going to die sooner or later?

Some are also saying it's pretty private, while some say it's google, so not much of a difference than using Chrome when it comes to privacy?

Chrome because it's what I'm used to and I love the features as well as the rest of the Google ecosystem. My most important browser extensions are available (I think) for all of the big three browsers and include: Bitwarden password manager, Library extension, and uBlock Origin for ad blocking.
