I just realized I posted here talking about my new case without sharing any photos. Shame KB...
I'm now at about 97% on keeping this and sending the Bullstrap Ocean back for the $69 refund. The fit is perfect and the buttons feel amazing. The closed bottom also hasn't bothered me near as much as I thought it would. I've been spending a lot of time just holding it while I'm not doing anything requiring two hands in the hopes that the patina process will take less time. Now that I'm looking at these pictures it seems to be working.

It looks like the plastic camera surround is a non-issue as to creating a wobble when laid on its back in those photos... is that a Mini?
Yep, it's a Mini and zero rocking when laid on a flat surface.

Mous case finally in today. Ordered from Best Buy so I would get the retail packaging instead of the Mous cardboard box. Took 14 days to receive from Best Buy The case had a very slight banana boat bow (not fidget spinner status) out of the box. This case is much improved over last years version.
Getting the phone into the case is about equal to the crowbar Symmetry.
The fit, feel, finish and overall appeal of the case is top notch. The buttons finally work fantastic, sides are a little slippery and it still suffers with the symmetrical cutouts which drive me insane. The max version lays nice and flat on the table as the camera protection is decent. I'm really liking this case until the KFC greasy fingerprints start showing up on the back. Here are some pics:

Yea, I like it. Getting the phone out of this thing is damn near impossible.
I just hate putting the skins on the back.
Already out of it and onto the Mous case.

Just finished shoveling the driveway and went to the mailbox to grab it and it wasn’t there. I’m supposed to have that and my Cypress Green silicone case delivered today but the mailman must be running behind.
I’ll snap a few if it’s not too late otherwise it’ll be tomorrow morning.

That's cool. Why do most cases suck this year? Lately I am on the hunt for new earbuds vs. cases lol.
Agree, I just ordered AirPods max lol, I have AirPods 2nd gen but can only use right one left just falls out when I walk or move, and AirPods Pro wouldn’t fit me either.
I am tempted to get the Airpods Pro, but dunno if I would like them. Kind of sucks. The Max looks good but dang the price!
I think I’m sticking with the Sheath as my daily driver for now. I’ll use the blue Bellroy or black Apple Leather case when I want something more fancy. And I’ve got the blue/black Speck Grip for when I need max protection.
I agree that cases in general kinda suck this year. I don’t know why a lot of case makers are having such a hard time with the squared off design. I don’t remember them having issues like this when the iPhone 4 came out.
